Iris and Sadie

Hey Seamaiden I think you might have been right about Flotsom. She is a week younger than Iris and Sadie but today she is looking the same size as them, in fact she looks a little bigger than Sadie. I think you have an eye for this !!!

Back to my wake and bake.......

Bake away for me please, ma'am. Here's what I've found out to this point, once they get going in the veg phase, you won't be able to tell the difference. They tend to catch up with each other.

I like your new av, that's kinda neat-O. But I'd like to see your scoot on the sig line. That's just me. ;)

So Iris and Sadie are 3 weeks old. Flotsom is 2 weeks old. Lucinda is around 6 weeks old. The 3 smaller ones all had some bottom leaves that were yellow/browning so I took those leaves off.

Does anyone else notice the color of Lucinda's stems? They're a reddish-purpleish color. I just started giving her some superthrive and a little tiny bit of miraclegrow and the color isn't as bright as it used to be.

I'm thinking that Iris and Flotsom are more Indica and Sadie and Lucinda may be more Sativa. Any thoughts on this from more experienced growers?

They may look dry in the pics, but it's moist under the top layer of dirt. I took the pics before I brought them in the other day.

So am I the only one that drags them in and out? I figured surely other people did it too.

I drag them in and out, and have had no problems doing so. Haven't tried the rinsing of the roots thing, but I think I will try that during a transplant sometime soon.

Superthrive is just a bunch of vitamins for plants. It's a product to keep plants in good health, or revive them and give them vitality in general. I think it works great, I have tried it on my sick or not so healthy plants with just Ph'd water, and it helps everytime.

I would say give them another week or so, I mean you could try very small doses. I used fox farm oceans forest soil which had some nutrition already in it. I really didnt feed much at all thru the whole veg cycle, til the end. I used Fox Farm Grow Big, Superthrive, and floralicious plus. Seemed to do just fine.

I went for a ride to the high country today. The high Sierra is so beautiful. Then I got stuck behind these three Harley riders, they didn't know how to ride the twisties, poor old guys. Should have seen their faces when we finally hit Sly Park and they saw that the guy on their asses was a woman. :twisted:

I love that look men get, was that a girl? Makes me laugh everytime. I love to ride, but I haven't have mine out all week, it's running shitty and pissing me off. Maybe this weekend I'll ride.

I'm starting to think MG is just fine, maybe even just as good as the rest or best from the research I have done. I think the high amount of nutes already in the soil itself just has to be navigated around in conjunction with your other nutes. As far as the nutes, they don't get the bad rep the soil gets, at least not as bad. lol. I am gonna try MG my next seed grow.

I would agree on the indica/sativa notion. From the look of it. I take the leaves off like you as well, but I keep as much of the leaf as I can.

Here are some pics of Lucinda. She is around 2 months old. She had some problems at the start and was nearly left for dead when she decided to try a little harder. She's shaping up quite nicely.


She's getting to large to haul in and out in a discreet way, so yesterday and today she was under 4 6500K 26W CFL's.

LOL they're outside and it's dark out. I'll get their photo shoot done tomorrow, they've not done a whole lot since last week.

So I think I'm going to start Lucinda on 12/12 at the end of the month. Should I just keep on with the usual nutes till then, then switch to a bloom booster with molasses?

This is my first plant ever so help me please *begging*

I haven't gotten to "full on" flowering just yet, my two girls have only just started growing their hairs. But! Yes, keep feeding her as usual, switch to bloom fertilizers as she begins to flower, and don't forget that she will continue to need and utilize nitrogen through most of her flowering.
