Man I’m not trying to be a dick but it’s what was in the bag. I don’t know. I have no reason to lie about it.

Oh, how about the humidity? Too dry? They will slow down. Seedlings can slow down anyway, so in winter, they can slow down even more.

Bottom line could be just being patient. Often the best thing we can do for our plants is get out of their way.

I haven’t seen bark in FFOF before though I grow in coco. I have seen enough grows in FFOF and haven’t seen bark in any of them.

Sorry if I’ve missed the post but did you pot this yourself OP? Does the bag of FFOF you have contain bark etc?

I think better pics would probably help these guys help you OP if you are able to get any

No no I hear you bro I mean it is an obvious difference though and that's why I had to ask

So Shacks was right, there's a pH issue:

It's either the soil

the water

or the root is sitting on a hotspot

Or less likely but possibly a combination of all the above

Are you using drops to pH? If you're sure you're around 6.5 then I would recommend a flush, but not yet wait a minute get some other input

Don’t worry man it just doesn’t look like any ffof we’ve seen so that’s just the first port of call, to make sure it’s not a dodgy medium you’re using! Nobody thinks you’re lying bro just maybe bought from a dodgy Ebay seller rebagging some stuff in ffof bag!

If there is no lime in the soil get a bag with lime and mix the two should be enough lime to buff both. Just have to give the lime some time

The FFOF I’m using is sold and shipped by Amazon. Here’s a post about people having the same stuff in theirs. Basically comes down to a hyped up product that really isn’t good at all especially reading all the problems they have. Definitely won’t be buy that again. Kind of bought my whole setup in one buy so was trying to save by going the the ffof but should of just spent the extra money on my own mix and maybe start with Rapid Rooters or Rockwool cubes. Going to definitely do some research to avoid things like this. The air flow is there, the light intensity is there, temp is there, ph’d water, no nutrients, decent humidity(assuming with the homemade dome). It has to be the soil.

Not disagreeing. I've read that thread. I have seen other people say that too. I have never had a bad bag but I have had a few hot spots so I'm going to get crucified for saying flush and I was already wrong once in the thread but in all honesty I couldn't see your picture.

So somebody's going to say flush, but first I'm still waiting on more pictures and I'm still wondering how you pH your water, drops meter, strips?

Pro mix ..ff.. any type of soil should say ph balanced on the box that means it has the required buffers lime. Peat ect.

I use a pH meter. Never tested soil pH due to them advertising that its pH balanced. I have General Hydroponics pH up&down to balance if needed. Will take more picture in a second when I’m back around the tent.

So I put some of the soil in a solo cup. Watered with pH’d water at 6.5. Run off is testing about 6.34.

Seedlings are funny things and lots of stuff can get in their way, like many of the suggestions in this thread. Already your next grow will be better. When it comes to this seedling though, I'd say less is more. You keep it warm and moist -ish and otherwise get out of the way. You'll probably have a fine young lady in no time.

I'd guess the growth slowed when you removed your humidity dome. Your seedling had it easy, all that moist air. Now you went and encouraged root growth by removing the dome. Tough love, yes?!

Some more pictures. Seems the one cotyledon is yellowing from the middle and gets greener on both ends. As for the first true leaves seem to have burned tips. No way the light was to close so maybe the soil is too hot and stunting growth?
