That Galaxy Brain is one of only a few auto's that I would have any interest in. That's due to Zamaldelica being an ACE strain and ACE has some good genetics that are great for breeding purposes which this outfit obviously new when they used it.
Have u tried their strawberry banana bud?

For me it's the combination of the freebies and the fact that a 3-pack bought directly from them has 5 seeds in it, together that makes a real difference. So yeah, it's been a time suck and unnecessarily stressful to buy from them directly, but I guess to me it's worth it. I've been lucky, except for this last Monday when the site went completely down, every time I've tried I've gotten something. Also, for some reason all of the banks that I've gone to for Meph seeds either don't take CC's, only have overpriced 7 packs, or require I send a picture of my photo ID and CC, and I won't do that. So far for me, seed banks haven't been an alternative.

The Night Owl strain that tempted me was Spotless Mind, I love the combination (Fugue State x Cosmic Queen). I've got some STS, I understand how random making my own F1's can be (pretty much zero pheno selection, just hit or miss), but starting this winter I'm thinking I'll make some of my own "freebies", and then try a SOG, 1/2 homemade freebies and 1/2 Meph freebies, and see how they compare.
That's a great idea

Thanks, I think more people are doing it. The two Meph strains I've seen used the most in crosses have been Sour Stomper and Cosmic Queen, and I have both of them. If I stick to their more mature/stable strains -- F5 or higher -- I should be OK. Not many other breeders provide info on filial generation, but it'd be tempting to also cross them with some DP strains that have been around for a number of years. Everything moves slowly since I only do a couple of grows per year, it'll be a long time before I'm actually finished with the breeding round and get to testing out the results.

Daz is the one who made Sour Stomper and Cosmic Queen just to put it out there. People are like leeches. Grab onto something and never let go. Daz has a smaller selection than Mephisto, but thats cause he was helping them make their name. Now that he's on his own, Night Owl is definitely equal to or better. Like that clown Parsing Trees told you, Daz has some good crosses with Cosmic Queen and you should try some of them.

No. I don't grow that kind of stuff. I did find the Galaxy Brain lineage interesting since the Zamaldelica they use from ACE is a cross of Zamal and Golden Tiger. Those are the kinds of strains I like to grow.
Actually it’s called Pineapple banana bud. It’s a cross of Malawi and Hawaii strains

That Zamaldelica did catch my eye tho

Well that's a different story. I didn't even know ACE had that. Not real thrilled with the name but it looks like a solid strain. I just don't typically grow the hybrid + hybrid crosses which is what Strawberry Banana is. I'd like to get some seeds of the Hawaiian ACE used for the cross. They have a bunch of stuff they use for breeding but don't sell on it's own.
