I was wondering if fellow growers could please recommend particular Mephisto strains that they have had good results from? I have a relatively high tolerance and prefer a strong longer high. I have had experience with Sensei seeds which wasn't great. Barneys Farm had a poor germination rate. Fast buds is really the best I've experienced thus far and have only recently gained access to Mephisto's catalogue and want to get onboard. Any strain advice would be greatly appreciated.

I like variety- whether auto or photo - no shame in growing any weed. :bigjoint:

Mephisto , Night Owl , Ethos , and others offer good products. Ran Hubbabubbasmelloscope , sweet toof from mephisto ( good smoke ) .

I actually like Bomb seed autos - Cherry Bomb , Gorilla Bomb , THC Bomb and Atomic. Good medium sized plants - good smoke as well. I don’t base any strain on so-called thc potency percentages - everyone metabolizes weed differently, what looks looks like a winner on paper can be a meh smoke.

Found plenty of strains weak in a rolled joint but stellar as edibles or volcano vape.

The cookies had some crazy frost on her and got you ripped for a good 2-3hrs! So much frost you cant see the caylaxes!

I am running ghost toof and a freebie Skywalker x toof decay. I hope to grow some weed that looks this good someday lol. If you don't mind me asking do you use soil, dwc??

I like autos because I find they aren't as high THC (on average) as photos. The highest THC autos I have tried were Mephisto Alien Vs Triangle, and Ripleys OG. They were probably around 18-20% THC. (I'm just guessing here). Most autos I have tried are around 1/3 less potent than their photo equivalents. YMMV...and all that.

My favorite is 3 Bears OG which I guesstimate to be around 12-14% THC.

I'm not solely driven by potency. It's more that I have some health issues. Failing kidneys are painful and I've found stronger bud more effective for me. I also know that photos are always going to have higher thc. That being said I got a tcheck result on a strawberry banana auto from Fastbuds that was advertised as 27% I got a 19% reading. I'm not chasing stats. I'm still learning. I thought that was good smoke. My experience is with auto's because it's more in line with my lifestyle. I just was after opinions on Mephisto because I'm learning more that good genetics does actually make a difference and I now have access to a seedbank that stocks Mephisto and is actually willing to ship to me.

Hey. I'm currently growing an Alien Cherry Kush from Aeque Genetics (Canuck) which I got from @CoastalMarySeeds . Info on the site is Alien Triangle x Cherry Kush. Assuming Alien Triangle is Mephisto, so I'll maybe update here on how it's going. Any Mephisto people know if they share genetics with other breeders occasionally?

I’m on my second round of Mephisto Forum Stomper. Nice potent smoke and pretty easy to grow. Highly recommended. Less success with or enthusiasm about their Samsquanch, which are the two I’ve tried.

This stuff about autos being less potent is largely old school and incorrect. There are so many variables to hitting max potency anyway, that very few people are topping out the potential of what they’re growing.

True story. I was at a recent gathering of friends that have been smoking weed and doing stuff together for several decades. Everyone stopped at the dispos, largely Vermont and Mass, and there was all variety of weed there. General consensus was that the Forum Stomper autos were among the most potent and flavorful. This wasn’t an argument, just an agreed upon observation.

Autos fit my grow windows really well, and I enjoy the variety. Definitely more hit or miss genetically, but it’s an adventure of diversity

I don’t believe anyone can differentiate in a blind taste/buzz test.

There cheese bomb/edam bomb isnt bad either its not full on cheese but dont get me wrong u can tell its in there but it has this piney and chemmy notes in the taste and smell too from the bomb1xbomb3 in it whatever they are there berry bomb was ok too ime as well




And op potency in autos isnt so high as there photo period counterparts not saying you dont get potent ones just it varies alot more people always do say that mephisto and night owl seeds are good if your dead set on autos only i couldt say specific strains though as autos arent my main thing from reading this thread that forum stomper maybe sounds worth a bash tho
