in a 6 X 8 flowering room

its a 600 watt ballast that allows you to run two bulbs off it but you need a 220 volt connection to use it similar to what ur dryer uses

i have like a 12 x 8 (give or take a foot) and 1000 watts is fine, depends on HOW many and how wide the area is growing, i have mine tall but not wide

ive only seen it at a few hydro stores. or what kind of store you talking about

idk, in west virginia there arent alot of hydroponic shops or anywhere to buy the lights like ive seen on this website. do you have a preference of where you get your stuff?
also how many plants would you put under two 600w hps lights?

i always get my stuff from hydro stores so i cant help you there. but i guess it depends on how big you want to grow your plants they say a 600 watt is good for a 4x4 area. id say around 6 plants would be good

if you dont mind me asking, but what kind of setup do you have?

I have a 4x4 tent with my moms and clones. with a 400 watt metal halide. Then i have a 4x8 ebb n flow with 2 1000s watt hps

Hydro farm sells a 100 dollar one but it's chain driven. I personaly got the intelladrive it was 250 with the stabalizer bar and comes with a 2 year warranty. Movers are the way to go.

Light movers are nice, but for the added cost, you could add another cheap ballast and light in some situations.

For the area described, I'd go with (2) 600w Ballasts and lights. 1000w will work till you can get (2) 600's.

Lumatek has a dual output ballast to run (2) 600's, but for the price, you can buy (2) individual 600's as well. Personally, I'd go with (2) seperate ballasts. That way if (1) takes a shit, at least you have (1) light to run on till you get another.
