Light movers are nice, but for the added cost, you could add another cheap ballast and light in some situations.

For the area described, I'd go with (2) 600w Ballasts and lights. 1000w will work till you can get (2) 600's.

Lumatek has a dual output ballast to run (2) 600's, but for the price, you can buy (2) individual 600's as well. Personally, I'd go with (2) seperate ballasts. That way if (1) takes a shit, at least you have (1) light to run on till you get another.
I agree.. get seprate ballasts, the new Lumatek 600 dimable is $189 pretty sweet..

Get a mover don't let anyone talk you out of it, I hear people say all kinds of bs like you'll get wispy buds or thats not enough light but I got my light 4 inches from the tops thats alot more lummens than peple 1-2 feet from the tops. I run one 600 I'm two weeks out but my room looks better than my buddies with 2 600's and better than my buddies with one 1000. Pain in the ass to hook up if air cooled but worth every penny and every hour of labor.
