I want to get some plants in this year. Anyone have any tips on getting a very large producer so that I don't have to have a ton of plants, and that way I don't sacrifice all the great high and excellent appearance and taste.

Fat bastard was a good producer. but after transporting a 5' plant it hermed 4 days later. she didn't like being bent over and shoved into a SUV like some crime victim.

Big Yielders ??mmhh
I ve heard and seen very good results form :BIG BUD.
Also really worth Crystal ...outstanding yields!!

Another one ....Skunk #1 Never forget the Oldies  GREAT Yield and can be very much abused ...

Iam starting to grow myself so ...what i seen is not equal to what i Done :O) And after all it s very much down to the grower not the strain .....More room , more care , more LUMEN and the yield will be good whatever ..

Good luck with it :O)

Afghani big bud has quite a reputation for yield around my way - it's nice, crystally smoke and you get loads if you grow it right. :weed:

Just a thought, but you may want to look into growing any variety of kush. hindu, master, OG. they are VERY powerful smokes with VERY nice yeilds.

Big bud/skunk#1/white widow/arjons/ ultra haze#1/sweet tooth/giga bud produce's fat yeild in 5 week max if grown right/white rhino/all produce when grown under the right conditions.i'm doing the same with the law in the uk makeing cannabis a class b drug i'm also giveing up on the sea of green and gowing 2 plants in each room veging for alot longer to get bigger yeiled but i'm doing blueberry the original because i love the stuff and i'm not paying £180/£220 a ounce.so i have 5 of them 4 in veg and one mother.i have some ak47 from my last sea of green but she is safe.

That is exactly right but a couple of strains that come to mind with a high yield reputation are 'Big Bud' and 'Double Gum'

Chronic - Serious Seeds: huge yield, phenominal buds. Cup winner.

This is one of the most commercial varieties, this medium height, not too dense plant is the perfect combination of good yield and excellent quality. Smokers that know and grow choose this plant for its combination of appearance and sweet smell. With its indica background Chronic can produce up to 600 g/m2 without losing that connoisseur feeling. Grows a single huge central bud with few side branches.

***I've read reviews where people say they'd rather smoke Chronic than White Widow or other cup winners. Should be good smoke.

.

Heavy Duty Fruity - TH Seeds:

One Word "Monstrous" will describe this plant. A huge producer with giant cola's will make any "bud waver" happy. Absolutely the best indoor producer we have seen yet. Ideal for planted method 20-30 p.s.m. But beware we don't call it heavy duty fruity for nothing, this plant smells Strong!

if ya ain't gettin good yields from kush, you aint growin it right!!! Jus messin. I'm sure everyone here know's there shit. I always thought kush was a fatty producer...but than again I have never grown a strain like big bud. (definitely about personal use here.) So compared to that, the buds may look like the end of a cattail reed. idk.
Apologies if my info was bad.

No worries mate. I was just say'n from what I have seen Kush is not a "BIG"producer. my freind just happend to come across a fat bastard clone that came with a juicy fruit and O.G. Kush. the fat bastard tipped over 2 weeks b4 harvest and had a amazing odor. I figured it would smoke like Ass 48(AK 48, I just figured this guy wanted a comercial strain.
