The temps are a little on the cool side, but since your not in flower it wont be a problem. The problem your going to have is stretchy plants. However if you do things right, this may work toward your advantage. They will grow slow and stretch in the sill, but you'll have time to transplant them a couple of times. If you build the soil around the base of the plant it will support it and roots will grow from the newly covered stem. If you can get a little air circulating, it will strengthen the stems too. When spring comes you'll have healthy roots and strong stems. Good luck.

Extra seeds are the best to experiment with just go for it. I'm doing the same with a couple extra trainwreck autos from a seed batch we weren't too interested in growing out properly for various reasons (tried a few in the tent, they came out very underwhelming vs other strains I was doing), they started veg in a tent for about their first 3-4 weeks but were moved out to make space for other specimens and have been since sitting against a south-facing window that is getting decent light. When I say decent, I mean as good as a canadian winter gets, theres still a foot of snow outside and temperatures are well below freezing outside most of the time. Not expecting the bud to be great, but they're growin' :)
