lol... i told ya i would have waited a bit lol. umm they might be if ya just use water for a bit.... if ya felt ya had to ya shoulda only gave it a really tiny dose once.
i did..i just used the liquid sea weed....the thing is ,i SIROUSLY am stick between theyr either nute burNED..or LACKING nutes.....ive always read nute burn is yellows spots, usually starting at the tips...so,yea ima give em a nice heavy watering of ph'ed tap water....and leave em be a for 2-3 dayz.......then ima add water with superthrive to help reduce any stress that may be lingering.....theres def a seedling "sticking out"...shes bigger than the rest, and HARDLY HAS ANY SPOTS

seeing as i did the banana method and made them female..i might have a new clone mother....shes growing nice n green...and will def keep an eye out on her......ima flsuh them, but am giving them a few more hours to see if they progress..

the chlorine and fluride may have been what was effecting your seedlings too. it can make the same sorta symptoms with seedlings and weak plants.. leaving water from the tap to sit helps this..

by banana method you mean over ripening or things of the sort to collect pollen right. then yeah ya should have a good chance of girls.

using banana peels on the seeds for 2 weeks.....so yeah, ima buy some distilled water...or should i keep on with my tap...the whole thing is,lets say i fill a gallon jug full of water, will the narrow opening STILL allow for the clorine to evaporate?or does it have to be on a cooler or bucket for the chemicals to evapoprtae??

i also use the anti chlorine drops foiund at the petsmarts..

Jayz,

I've never grown but I keep three aquariums with stupidly expensive fish in them. I would be VERY careful with the chlorine removal drops. In my early salt aquarium days I killed some sensitive fish with that stuff. Either let your tap water sit for 24 - 48 hours to let the chlorine evaporate or if you have water with Chloramine as opposed to Chlorine then just bite the bullet and go to a high end fish store that sells RO water. (Stay away from supermarket RO water machines as they tend to not change the filters often enough.) A good exotic fish store (not petsmart) will sell water for between 50 cents and a dollar a gallon for top quality RO water.

Again I don't KNOW that the chlorine drops will harm your plant, but it has killed my fish ($1400 worth of fish in 24 hours.) I don't trust it any more.
I also live on the coast and know your pain concerning the tap water.
My water, straight out of tap, tastes like pure sulfer it's NASTY!!!

I got two filters (not installed yet) http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=89378-59019-WHKF-DWHBB&lpage=none I have this as a pre-filter and this http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=31217-43353-WHELJ1&lpage=none as a complete filter. It acts as a water softener without the salt. It uses electrodes and carbon filtration to clean the water before it goes through your house. I'll let you know how it works as I'm having it installed in the next three weeks. I'm hoping that it will lower the ph and TDS of my house water so I don't have to buy 200 gal of water every month for my fish tanks. If it works for them it will no doubt work for your grow. It's more effecient than a RO filter and make all your water better, not just the stuff from a single tap.
