i was just saying 200-400 an oz is insane to me. even with some flame thats so light it breaks out to double what it should i wouldnt dream of payin these prices. good service = repeat customers (or in your case "patients"). Especially if you're trying to help these people, i wouldn't rape them in prices bro..

that 100$ street weed is most likely from an illegal drug operation...not grown by a caregiver who takes the time to make sure their patient gets quality meds.
your looking at a monthly amount of $ as a profit...my money goes back into the grow for my patients, not in my pocket.
the guy selling his 300$ qtr pounds is buying pounds...caregivers don't carry pounds...to different things going on here.

...my patients can go by their smoke anyplace they choose...and , in my case, I don't really " charge " anything. We look at the elec. bill together, and I save all my recipts...they give me what they can...but thats just me, I'm still new at all this
I'm not trying to argue...but since I started growing I've realized that most of the weed available out there does't compare to what one can grow at home...and if I could't grow then i'd gladly pay the higher $$ for it...when you have to smoke all day...you need good shit

If you grow 12 plants for your patient, and are a good grower then you should be getting at least 36 ounces every 90 days.
Say you let your patient have 12 ounces (4 per month) at the "bargin price" of $200 per ounce that is $2400 - then you still have 24 ounces to sell at full price - say $350 per ounce, that is $8400 added to the $2400 from your patient you made $10,800 from one patient's plants in three months.
$10,800 per grow times 4 grows per year is $43,200 from one patient's plants - yep y'all are saints, I don't know how you get by on that.
That $10,800 is money earned on plants you could not grow without the patient.

Who's the guy that says he get's $100/oz?????? I paid that 20 years ago, and it was pressed, mexican brick week. It came so pressed you had to spend hours peeling it apart. I remember the doobies were so nasty at the end they dripped awful liquid all over the place. That stuff tasted so bad we'd smoke blunts mixed with tobacco to make it tolarable.

90 days is a myth. Good strains take 10 to 12 weeks to finish. That is straight flowering time. Don't forget about veg time my man. It takes time to break down, clean up, reset, and get rolling again. No one can do 90 days consistantly. I suppose there are a few super fast finishing strains out there, but they don't have 20+ percent THC.

Well im glad you found your patients. I guess people have a nack for misinterpreting things on the internet. I know it takes time, skill, and money to grow medical grade MJ and it should cost more...I just didnt realize people were paying that much, this is my first time tuning in on the subject...I never even dreamed of legal marijuana n "illegal operations" are all i've known so far, hence the shock. (BTW i dont fuck with brick / commercial weed, dont know why you guys got that stuck in your head). So yea , keep doin what you're doin rzza, sorry to come off so negative before.

I don't want to argue symantics with you. You and I obviously have very different grows going on, so it's cool if you can turn in a day. It averages me 1.5 hrs per plant (24 in an abb and grow for flowering) to cut, trim, hang, and manicure for jars. It takes several days clean up the mess, clean new hydroton, and get replanted. We just do different stuff.
I've never said that this is anything but business to me. You can read my posts, I've never made any other claim. I'm sorry I'm a capitolist pig. Sucks, but I'll lose my house without this second job, which is exactly what it is to me. Wifey lost hers a couple of years ago, and she did pretty well. I pull double duty to keep us in the lifstyle we worked so hard to build. Thats really the only thing I care about, everything else is secondary.
I do think your idea of pulling so much dried weight is pretty idealistic though. 3 zips of dried and cured is tough to acheive even for seasoned pros, if you don't have a long veg, and a crapload of lights. I don't have a clue what type of system you have though, so maybe that's it. What kind of set up do you run?

I had my doctors recommendation within a month of moving to MI. All you need are 2 bills with your name and MI address (one of mine was my lease) to get a state ID/license then you can go see a doc. Waited 3 weeks after getting my rec and everythings good to go!!

I've been working with new patients and caregivers since this law took effect and always tell them it takes more then they think to grow non-stop and to grow the best.They soon find out that I been steering them straight as it's not as easy as tossin a couple of beans in a bucket.
You can always tell a new grower or patient by the answers they give and the amount of bitchin they do about price. Once they been at it a spell they find out what it takes and stop bitchin thats it's to pricey.
