Last night I made clones. I was in my boxers doing my cuts and when I was finished and putting them in the "clone closet", I realized my legs had gone completely red, I am allergic to rockwool, now soil is my friend for life. FUCK

Oh no! Are you sure? Maybe it was from something else.
Sorry to hear about it but I use soil.:blsmoke:

lol, "properly attired", funneh! It's ok Lacy, I love soil anyway  In this world, soil is the most forgiving thing I've got :-| So it's here to stay. Yes Lacy, I just looked it up, it's used in many different ways as an insulant. Which explains more to me, since everyone really doesn't respond well to insulation. I feel like a large newb. BUT, I also thought... that may be why some people's aero setups clog. The rockwool I got had teeeeny tiny pebbles in it... like salt size, but black. !!!!! I am waiting for someone to post and explain to me why I'm wrong so I can feel dumb.

Hey you wanna know something that sucks, i cant even harvest my own plants. when i do and the branches start touching me i break out in hives... so i feel your pain.

I don't know what it is.. I can smoke it, able to eat it when cooked in something, but its just the branches.. they touch my skin and i get hives and get all itchy...

Dude if you can't harvest your own plants just wear latex gloves when you chop and when you trim. I've seen plenty of people have allergic reactions to freshly cut bud, so it's really not that out of the ordinary. Gloves should take care of the problem.

Best of luck

Yeah.. im never prepared when it comes around time to do it... so ill start out doing it and then if i start to break out, ill just wash my hands and let my bf finish it up..

I get that too... well the itchy part. Get it when i stroke my dog too, guess I've got sensitive skin. Now don't start taking the piss.

wow...really...that's gotta be frustrating....allergies are such weird beasts....I remember as my mom got older she developed allergies she did not have in previous years....funny how the human body reacts sometimes, and to no one is there a hard fast rule either....:blsmoke:

I don't know anything but soil so you're ahead of me.

Yeah allergies are a weird thing.. i love grapes and used to eat them all the time.. then all of sudden about 4 months ago i broke out in hives all over my body... it happend 3 times and i had to put down the grapes.. so grapes and weed... its weird..lol the last time it happend my face and eyes swoll up so bad i looked like a freaking troll.. it was so embarrassing... lol

dude that sucks. i was gonna say, get some body armor (those fine silky-like shirt things athletes wear, or a sweater and wear latex gloves. i think the reason you can smoke it is because the heat destroys shit before your inhale it, even our beloved THC is destroyed so much during smoking that only 20% of it actually gets to us via slipstream smoke... vaporizers are the only way to get 99% of the THC in your lungs (also conveniently removes all the cancer causing agents and foreign toxins that result from the combustion (burning) of marijuana) The vaporizer heats up to a temp low enough to evaporate the THC, while letting the plant matter remain. Oh and funny shit WNelson
