Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Day 90 for those left in this thread waiting for their cards. Feel like this thread has gotten off topic... Recieved app 10/10. Check cashed 12/21. App was still processing as of 01/03 when I last called.

But I guess when you think 3 months is a reasonable waiting period to approve sick people, 5 months to implement a new program just like you've done twice before is breaking records.

I think nobody will care to dig into the 90 day waiting period because it was fixed 8/28.
I wouldn't doubt if that was the reason it was signed. No, I didn't cause any waiting period, I signed provisional access, remember.

Just a bit longer. You ever here of a Guy called " Honest Abe?" He was our last honest Politician in Illinois. That was 1865, and they Killed Him!! LoL so 154 Years

WooHoo Just called. One call and got thru waited on hold for 2 minutes asked if app was received
Doctors appt 11/13
Paper Application received by IDPH 11/16
Waiting game continues

Looks like this should be our week, i applied oct 13th online, called the 3rd of jan and they said it was sent for printing

Day 95.
Submitted online on 10/5.
Confirmed with IDPH it was approved on 12/28, and mailed on 1/2.

Informed delivery shows a tattered envelope that looks like it got jammed up in a USPS sorting machine in the mail today.

Recently I've had a few things show up in informed delivery that did NOT get delivered that same day. That's on the USPS and my mail carrier, I know, but if they don't deliver this piece of mail today, I'm going to be really pissed. And someone at the USPS is going to get an earful. :cuss:

I got through their line today, the representative still said they did not get to my application yet. I mailed mine. They received it November 19th. I made sure everything was included in it.

Update:
Mailed app 10/21
USPS tracking shows delivered 10/23
IDPH says received 10/25
Called today (day 74) and they have not gotten to my app yet, nor has check been deposited.

It’s going to be a while yet... 90-95 days for most people here lately. I’m about 12 days ahead if you (IL recieved my app on 11/07), I’m hoping to get my card around Feb 7th.

I've been lurking here for over a month while waiting patiently for my card. Finally decided to set up an account and post.

I submitted my application online on 10/16
Called today and was approved just this morning 1/7

The lady told me to wait about two weeks because they are being sent to PA to print, then mailed directly from there.
This all seems to be in line with what I've read here. I just wanted to post the dates for anyone who is interested.
Also, I asked for my QP# since I already set up my account at medicalcannabispatients.illinois .gov
She gave me the QP# and told me it's pointless. But it was nice to be able to search on the IL website and see my # listed as "Active"!!!

I feel like the medical cannibis department should have been hired more employees to check applications. Especially since the number of applications keeps growing. It’s not fair that people have to wait a long time. :cry:

The doctor that signed my paperwork recommended these...I was a little spooked
