You should call and find out what's going on with your application. I just called and mine began to be processed on monday. The nice lady on the phone said count 30 business days and the card should be in the mail box.

i am really grateful for this group as i have been monitoring it ever since my application was sent. thank you everyone as this was the only resource to provide any real time frame or insight to the process!
12/31 - application submitted
02/14 - auto response from dph regarding my application status
03/13 - called dph and was informed my application was just approved. also received an email letting me know i was approved and would receive card in 10-14 business days

I have had some really dark days as of late with thes new meds my mom would have been the one that kept me looking ahead but she past just last year. My husband and my Dad are trying and I know that there is light at the end. I am glad to be a part of this thread. I haven't done forums for a long time please for give me for the lack of proper use.

We CAN do this Kvondi! It's just a few weeks right? In preparation, I was thinking of making either my recipe for chocolate fudge brownies or sauce pan cookies, (which are like choc chip cookies on steroids with a lot of extras) to have on hand. I can toss the batch in the freezer until day of rejoicing when card arrives. My endorphins won't know what hit them lol.Lord give me the patience for this wait. 33 days down 57 more to hopeful feel good days. I have my calendar counting down to 90 day.

-Mailed app on 12/13.
-State called me on 3/6 about minor ppwk issue. Yes they called! No letter in the mail The lady was super nice about it.
-Faxed proper ppwk on the morning of 3/7 and called said nice lady to confirm it was received. She said "yes, you are approved and your card will arrive via mail in 10-14 days."
-Received card in mail on 3/14. (Looks more like 7 days but I'm sure the 2 weeks is for a cushion)
The wait is over! Going to the dispensary tomorrow

I went through an all-in-one clinic that required an initial appointment when I met with the doctor, the application was completed, fingerprints, photo, etc. A second (televideo) appointment was also required. Here's my timeline:
12/12/2017: initial appointment, application, etc. completed
12/21/2017: second (televideo) appointment
12/22/2017: credit card charged by IDPH
02/26/2018: sent an email to IDPH inquiring about status. Later that day I received an email telling me that they are processing applications in the order they are received and that they are too busy to respond to emails regarding status updates.
03/05/2018: received a letter via snail mail saying that my application was "incomplete" and that it was filled out by a physician who does not have the necessary licenses to complete the form, which was bullshit and a clerical error on IDPH's part. I wasn't surprised. Classic State of Illinois stupidity. Lost a whole week over their mistake.
03/06/2018: first thing in the morning I faxed the letter over to the clinic I applied through. They told me this was happening A LOT. Way to go, Illinois. They resubmitted the physician's form via email immediately, and told me I will receive my card in 2-3 weeks (regular time, not business days, but still nets out to 10-15 business days).
03/13/2018: card received!! I was surprised that it arrived exactly one week later instead of 2-3 weeks.
I start my timeline the day after my 2nd doc appointment, since that is also the day my credit card was charged and therefore when IDPH received my application. Given that, it took 82 days. Would have been 75 if IDPH wouldn't have made their stupid mistake. Also, I do find it odd that I heard absolutely nothing until I emailed them and they responded with the generic we're too busy email, but then suddenly they sent me a letter. It probably would have just sat there gathering dust if I didn't shake the tree.
And, it meant nothing regarding when they charged my credit card. That was the first thing they did, and the wait was still 81 days after that.

so is the dr real laid back with the discription of your diagnosis ? Or are seriously jacked up ?

Sent in my application Feb. 8. Called two days ago, March 13, and all they could do was confirm they received all the documents. Looks like Im still a ways away.
