Got through on the phone number, confirmed approval, card was mailed yesterday 3/7 (see i knew that was gonna be a good date!). Consulting usps service standards to determine new ETA and assuming these get sent standard mail from somewhere in Pennsylvania. would love to know how long others figured the mailing took.

thanks for all your help and support with the wait and figuring this all out, everyone, and ill post again when card arrives.
Good to hear ChangyHoi. Glad the wait is coming to a close for ya. I'm anticipating end of month to first second week in April perhaps < knock on wood, pray, do a spiritual dance etc... >

Has anyone done the electronic filing and paid thru the site? I applied 2/7/18 and they took the money on 2/9. I called them just last week and all the paperwork is there just no one has been assigned to it. I know I have a wait watching the site looks like 80 to 90 days. Just wondered. If I counted right and I am approved it should be around my birthday (crossing my fingers)

Wish it was sooner I am having major nerve pains from y injury and I have full coverage thru Work Comp settlement. I have lost the feeling to my left arm WC id dragging their feet on the approvals for imaging and to see my neurosurgeon and I have had my meds increased and couple more to deal with neuropathy. I was relief that wont keep me from being able to work or drive.

I also filed all of my paperwork online a few weeks before you, and paid through the site. My payments was accepted within 2 days as well.

Looks like we wait it out now.:) I hope you get relief soon!

Sorry to hear that Kvondi.... sadly it is a pretty solid 90 day wait right now.

The upside is that they do not appear to be turning down anyone as long as you have a legit diagnosis (which you certainly have) and are not a felon.

Hang in there.... there are plenty of us here suffering with you. This thread has pulled me back from the edge more than once since I started the process in December...and I am thankful for whomever started it!

I submitted my application on 1/22/18. I called on Friday and they said they received my application but that's all he could tell me. :/

I have been watching this forum for quite awhile now, it has been the only resource I found for getting through the long wait times. I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. I filed electronically on 12/20. My doctors certification was postmarked the same day. I called at day 50 was told it had been received to give it another month. I called on 3/9, they said it had been approved on 3/6 and that my card had been mailed on 3/7. If my count is right it is 76 days. (waiting for card now) I can only expect that they are getting faster, possibly due to the ballot initiative currently being voted on. Please keep posting for others, it really does help with just the updates. Congrats to all who have made it, and hang in there if you are still waiting.

Peace

They received my application on 12/18. It was with VA history and I have 4 of the debilitating conditions. So, my count is now day 84 and the mail has already ran today. They cashed my check on 02/28. Starchild I think your count is actually 82 days.

Dec 1 - Sent in documents

Feb 16 - Check cashed

Feb 24 - Letter Received (Incomplete)

Feb 24 - Emailed Proper Documents

Feb 26 - Sent Confirmation Email (RoboResponse)

Feb 27 - Approved

Mar 8 - Talked to IDPH on phone. Card is in the mail

Mar 12 - Card Received

Mar 12 - Heading to Dispensary

Here’s to 101 days of patience.

Just got email response from them. They wrote I was approved for the cannabis program and my new card sent for printing and should receive it in 10-14 business days.....so it could take a total of 101 days before receiving the card. Could have grown and been using a crop by now....I filed in the fall season and in 9 days it will be spring!!!!

Update as promised...intercepted the mailman in my driveway with the promised card on Saturday 3/10.

snail mailed app 12/7
app received 12/14
card received 3/10
86 day total.

started getting impatient around day 30, last two weeks were borderline obsession, but now ive been to my dispensary twice and life is better all around. hang in there long-timers, your day will come.

Congrats to card recipients! So I'm a 12/29 app and emailed a status request today. Immediately got an auto-reply, but thirty minutes later got what seemed to be a human being reply basically saying the same thing (application has been received, etc.) but with a typo, the text was a different color, and the "automatic reply" was gone. Maybe some of you have had this. Does this mean an actual person is assigned to me and things are moving forward? I'm inspired by Starchild's 12/20 app approval (and if your doctor postmarked on 12/20, they might have not received it until 12/26). Probably just over analyzing dates, but it gives me something to do!

Thank you, Kvondi! There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel... it's been a pretty emotional evening for me, I think I'm still pretty much in shock. It shouldn't have to be this hard to get relief and feel normal... again, hang in there!
