If you have a felony and rent out a room...

If you own a house and you are a felon under supervision in AZ, does your probation officer have the right to search the rented out room with a padlock on it?

Typically not without a warrant but I'm not to familiar with how it is in AZ. Since nothing in this state ceases to amaze me it could be all ass-backwards.

I would be more worried about the PO wondering why there is a pad lock on a bedroom door. A door knob with a lock would work fine. My grow room has a bedroom door knob with a key so I can keep it locked and nosey visitors out.

Read the Order from the Judge...

And your Probation Terms...

I heard someone talking about having a AzDHS notice on the door that is locked!

My mom is a PO and i just asked her for you. She said if she goes into a felons house and see's a padlock she will ask whats inside, if he does not open the door immediately she calls for PD and they force the felon to open. If he does not they take him into custody and tape off the residence while they get a warrant. Mostly due to potential kidnapping and/or narcotics manufaturing

If they have badges and a gun they can do what ever they want and then write it up anyway they want . Seriously, they are the po po.

Your 1st mistake...

Told your ex-probation officer! They are Peace Officers... Would you ask a police officer if you could grow?

Your 2nd mistake...

Showing your grow to a Peace Officer!

Why is that a mistake. When she came to inspect the house I had no choice. Either that or violate & go to prison. My lawyers stay down anyhow if there was an issue. I could be up for 20 on a triple agg assault (3 fags pushing around a homeless man) but I did 18 months probation, off in 9 for good behavior aka growing the goods. Not to worried.

Correct me if I am wrong... You were "just released from prison". If you have a probation officer you are not on parole!

Parole officer for folks released from prison(can do time serve with no parole- did you?)! Probation officers are for folks on probation! So if you are on probation you have completed your parole and likely were caught for another offense to get put on probation!

Your track record tells me jail and/or prison is unavoidable for some! And this unavoidable venue can be prevented by not telling a Peace Officer about your grow (legal or not)

IMO
