Thomas Jefferson No Doubt.
Give him three months to read up on WTF has been going on.
He had his shit together.
Closest your going to get to T.J. today is Ron Paul No Doubt in my mind.

I wish I could revive Ben Franklin for two hours and have him speak before congress.
Make most them look like water-headed children.

I'd vote for Thomas Jefferson, then try to explain to him the concept of a trillion before he took office.

I'm sure Thomas Jefferson could grasp the concept of 1 trillion.
Just explain it to him a 4:00 and blaze at 4:20 so he can let that shit sink in.
IMO he would have little trouble understanding.
This is all the result of Hamiltons policies.
T.J. and Hamilton went round and round over just this problem.
He would have a firm grasp of the problem in short order.

I wasn't real sure who I'd pick when I first wrote this,so I did a little more reading on the men and their accomplishments, and I'd have to say Thomas Jefferson, especially because of his views regarding religion.

Jefferson would be my first choice, but like somebody said above, I don't know if he would want to be in todays world so I chose Kennedy

Jefferson was not a good president really. he claim to fame comes from earlier. His only achievement as president was the Louisiana Purchase (talk about unconstitutional). Besides you can't compare founders with modern presidents. Washington was the only president of whom it can be said that if not for him, the nation wouldn't exist. I'll give my early vote to him and my later vote to Reagan.
