Ideas for concealing Grow Tents.

My house is currently on the market for sale, sadly there has been little success in selling. I am not growing at the moment as a result. The agent is nosy and would want to know what is in the tents, as well as potential buyers getting curious or suspicious.

I was considering putting a fabric like tarp over the tents so that it would seem like an item of furniture, but I think this would lack integrity to pass as furniture due to the flowering tent being 1.6m in length.
Is there anyway of concealing the tents?

Legal state? That right there makes all the difference. My buddy just bought a new place and said when they first looked at it there was a 10 x 10 in the garage with an active grow in it. He knew what it was but was fucking with the realtor and said "What, pray tell..is THAT?" He said the realtor just said " Looks like it might be a pot grow"....and went on....

A consideration you might think of....and something that happened to us when we sold a house a few years ago I'd grow in for 20 years....was that the "inspector" the sellers brought in notice 4 small peices of mylar behind 4 staples I missed in the area where I had my grow set up. He freaked....and from there....we went on a 12K escapade to rid the home of "mold".....cus...you know...IT WAS A GROW HOUSE... uhhummm. They found 2 small spots of black mold...IN THE ATTIC....not related to growing whatsoever....but it cost me....yes...it did.

So just the PRESENCE of the tent may set bells off.... I dunno if it's worth it for the small amount of weed you can produce....

but good luck with the sale however you proceed with things...

People are not stupid. Grow tents are old hat. Most folks know exactly WHAT that thing is over there in the corner...making noise and stinking....under that box...or sheet....

Legal state? It's your call.

Illegal state? It's a stranger's call...to the police...likely.

Best of luck on the sale.

Thanks for the replies, currently it is a bit of a grey area.Technically it is legal to grow, however I do not want to deter buyers.I might have to do a smaller grow and with maybe two plants in my closet.

Just put in a fake wall which will cost next to nothing...plaster board and a bit of common sense you will be able to knock some false walls up...good luck

Once she or he has seen the house that's it,they should not need to look again till a buyer comes a long ,Buid a Wardrobe that goes round it,that you can have doors open when no ones coming shut doors when they come to house.Spray it white ,so looks like a flat pack.

No offense, but I think you need start weighing your priorities a little better. Do you want to sell the house or don’t you? Not judging you as I do not know you, but common sense here says take it down, start again in the next house. Why make waves when you don’t have to? Your not even growing at the moment. People will always try to fuck you in every way they can, especially when money is involved. Good luck with sale brother.

Yeah I agree that it would not be a fantastic idea to lose a possible sale over growing, however the market is just horrific at the moment.Ill have to think this through a lot, but I think the best option would be to have a closet grow with a carbon filter.

If it's legal to grow where you are tell the agent it's a grow tent and leave it at that. Why would a buyer give a damn?

I doubt to may people would care, its that chance of getting a buyer that has a prejudice towards cannabis and decides to call the police.I just do not want to cause unnecessary trouble for myself.(The law constitutes growing for personal use.) What I am considering doing is using T5 lighting in a closet grow (Seems interesting running a closet grow,) and sustaining myself just on produce from that. Then once the sale of the house has been completed and I have moved I can run my HPS, but I will not be putting the T5s to waste as I can use them for clones and the vegetative phase for larger future grows.

I’d just halt growing until the house is sold. Where do you live? I’m in rural Michigan an housing is big. People are looking to buy so much so I had a realtor ask if I was interested in selling as they can’t keep up.
