What is the ideal temp and rH of the room you use for drying your buds?

Also - when do you put the buds into brown paper bags and how long do you keep them there? Thanks.

I asked Heath Robinson & this was his reply:

"I dry at a relative humidity of approx 62 and temps of approx 72, the stems should crack rather than bend when fully dry, the buds also need to feel dry to the touch but obviously not too dry that they crumble to dust, a humidity of 62 helps prevent this."

i thought 55 humidity was ideal otherwise it takes longer an temp 72-82

Heath Robinson has never failed me so Ill be drying according to his recommended temps, rh & method come this harvest. My bleuberrys still have 4 weeks to go but Ill definitely report on how the dry process goes with pics.

I like to keep the temps around 65-70 and the RH 50% or below. I also keep a fan circulating the air but not blowing on the buds.

As for the brown paper bag, just watch them because that paper really sucks the moisture out of them quickly.

Ok Guys! I recommend 7 days hang dry in 50% RH or lower.. 70-72 for temp.. dark room! and yes thats right when the stem snaps its ready. 7 days gives those big buds enough time to dry all the way through... but someone answer this for me!! Has anyone EVER used a food dehydrator to speed their dry process! I do herbs and my own food all the time.. but have never tried it because i figured you would lose a lot of the potency due to heat!?! help me out here

18 celsius whatever that is in F. Humidity should be around 50-60% normal and dont direct an airflow on the drying buds but rather have the air just move around it slightly and it has to be dark.

I usually just hang em up in a closet somewhere and dont worry bout it much. If you hang em up they will dry, thats a fact. :bigjoint:
