ICE from seed grow thread.

I was just mentioning this strain to someone yesterday. They couldn't figure out what the process was called, when the calyx's grow right on top of each other.. and I informed him/her that its called 'Fox-Tailing'. But, I also mentioned to him/her that some strains are known for doing this.. and that Nirvana 'Ice' is one of those strains that is known for doing the 'fox-tailing' process.

I've grown this strain before, all three times, it fox-tailed on me. It's not a bad thing, per say... but I'd much rather have normal calyx formation, rather than fox-tails. Just my personal preference though.

Indica dom strains won't hardly fox-tail on ya.. the more Sativa you run, the higher the chances are that you can end up with fox-tails.

Just watch out for it.. I mean, like I mentioned, its not a negative thing.. but it can destroy your final yields.

You'll love the taste of the 'ICE' strain... its very very very sweet tasting. The longer you let her go, the sweeter she'll get too.

I can't wait to taste it. Sounds like ill enjoy it.love sweets. And thanks for the kind words. How big were your plants when you harvested? Also, what was your yield? Just curious myself.
 
P1011388.jpg this is the branch that decided to break one night. its about 2 feet long or more. had the makings of a good one. oh well, more nutes for the others. :)
 
depends bro if u want more resin jus dehumiderfiy the fuk out of ur room not to much so the dry up nd die but u have to trick the plant into thinking it needs more moisture in the plant leaves so it produces more resin nd it has been knoen that if u feed malassis it makes the resin more flavorsim for smoke

Plants are looking good Billy, I think ur ppm might b a little high. Do u have a tds meter? Or a. Ph. Meter? These are necessary when growing hydro, and in a lpa system, less is more. They look good other than the ends! Good job!!
 
Thanks vape. Some of the ends were on the light when I was fixing stuff. So I know that's part (mostly) the issue. I keep an eye on them. As much as I can anyways. :)
 
Cool, but as SOON as u can, get. Some, u can find them for cheap, 15-25 bucks, just so u can have. A good ideal what the status of ur water is, check out my grow when u get a chance, cutting tomorrow! :)
 
Looking very nice, guess my pheno is leaning more on the indica side. Cant wait to compare mine against yours since your hydro and farther along.
 
yeah man, for sure! mines about 4 weeks into flower now. Somewhere along those lines anyways. aonother 3 weeks to go or so. With all the super cropping and trimming and such, the growth has slowed a bit but itll be back in a few days. shes gettin skunky now through out the upstairs. Theyre in the basement.
