ICE from seed grow thread.

:bigjoint:Hey guys just getting around to my first grow thread. Its (so far) comprised of Nirvanas very own ICE. I ordered 10 seeds (reg) for 30$ plus shipping and received em in good time. One week! BUT, only 2 had "popped" out of 10. So i contacted them (nirvana) and they resent another 10...free! Customer service right there! Soooo, while my other 10 are germinating i figure ill start this thread! :leaf:
 
Ok first off, im not doing soil cuz its kinda boring. ;)
just messin with you soil guys! But i am doing this Aeroponics style-ish. Using general hydroponics nutes and such. right now my little one is in a one gallon container with appropriate holes cut into the tops for rockwool and the baskets to hold em in. have a little aquarium pump running to a medium sized airstone for bubble action. Above the plant i have 4 100 watt (23 actual) CFL lights not to mention a small heater that ive placed on the floor. room stays a perfect 72-76 degrees.
 
I just finished a run of ice, it's top notch.

I have tried jock horror, aurora indica, chrystal, bublicious, eldorado, and ice all from nirvana and aside from the jock horror and a keeper pheno chrystal I found ice ranks in at the top of the gear that I have grown from them.

I found two distinct phenos with 15 females and both look the same after manicure/dry/cure, however pheno 1 is more dense, finishes much faster but unfortunately does not yield anywhere near as much. The potency/high is the same to me while the 2nd pheno (the slower/higher yielding strain) smells much better after curing then the first.

I have another ice in flower now that was also started from seed and it looks to be different then all the other ice I have grown. It is much more frosty at 5 weeks 12/12 then any of the other ice I have finished, however this plant received a longer veg then normal but I don't see how this would effect resin production.

Got some pictures to put up soon (as soon as I'm able). This little plant keeps growing everyday like a weed :lol: Gonna up the nutes to the next level. Full T-spoon for each.
 
please keep in mind, this is my first grow. However, i have been around the block a time or two with veggies and such. BUT this is my first aeroponics grow EVER. I love it! It more labor intensive than soil. Gotta always keep your attention paid to the plants. Kinda like brewing beer or distilling hard alcohol. It's just fun!
 
its not my prefered smoke cus im more of a fruity weed lover but it was nice, the high on mine was more of a creeper but 15 min after a joint i was battered lol
 
bahahaha! Thats awesome! I love the creepers man. Cuz you can be sittin down (just like drinking) enjoying a good smoke and nothing. Then stand up and WHAM! You're laughing your ass off. :)
 
Never seen ice before but looking good man keep it up, sorry to hear about the power outtage, but thats some good customer serveice dude!!
