Exactly.. 'whores of Babylon' seems to define it to the core to me.. lol..
The fact that I came to was that if I 'needed' these things to make me 'feel better' or 'feel good' that must mean I don't 'feel good' in the first place.. The society conditioning unraveled from there for me.. most people inherently hate themselves, and won't admit it..
Actually it's from the bible.. and you know, I am by no means Christian or anything, but there are some good lessons to be had in that book.. the 'whores of Babylon' degraded themselves, were completely into their own vanity, and basically lived in sin... lol... when I see these bleach blonde chicks, big fake boobs, ass all hanging out while sleeping around with everyone they can and selling themselves for shoes and purses, that's what it reminds me of.. lol.. in the story though, of course god destroyed Babylon.. LOL..
You cannot truly love others if you truly do not love yourself..
well it would be nice if everyone could be so "enlightened", but I'm pessimistic. I think most people are just too stupid to be "enlightened", if thats possible. As for the whole venus project thing, hierarchy is the nature of things...everything, EVERYTHING, has a hierarchy.

I'd have to disagree with you. You see, I personally believe we are all already enlightened we just have so many walls built up, we do not realize our inherent perfection.
1. I refuse to be a slave to this system that encourages me to get a monotonous job and stay there for years just for money . . .
2. I refuse to allow myself to push my spiritual beliefs on another person are to allow others to do the same . . . .
3. I refuse to allow myself to react violently in any way with people including verbally and when I have I will be the first to apologize and do so sincerely . . .
4.I refuse to accept for face value any and all media reports . . .
5. I resolve to own a gun as long as the second amendment stands . . .
6. I resolve to respect the views of others . . .
7. I resolve to help others in any way when called upon by them regardless of their social status or financial situation . . .
.
8. I resolve to join the community of one through self-examination and positive effort . . .
9. And when I fail at all or any of these I will start over and try again in the next minute . . .
Just high and thought I would post the keys to the path of enlightenment . . . .![]()
But what happens when you run into normal everyday people who are not in a state of mind like you? Are you angry at them? Are you awkward around them? Does everyone think you're crazy? How do you deal with people who can't see what you see? Are you lonely in your philosophy? I consider myself pretty intelligent and have alawys felt a disconnect with many other people for their shallowness, materialism, sheep-ness, what have you. What do you guys do, because surely your attitudes are pretty unique in your lives?
hmmmmm - how about calling it 'a path' cause the way it reads it seems like you are imposing here a bit.
thats like saying there are infinite paths to excepting jesus as your savior and i really dont think that is what you are trying to get at
yes well you seem to be growing in leaps and bounds but all in a lateral chubby kind of way. Buddha never meant his shtick to become religion
Neither did Jesus . . .![]()
