i have a 6x 2 1/2 closet and i have a 400 watt HPS in there, you may be able to get away with a 250.. But the more light the better

Check those roots, VERY CAREFULLY lift it outta the pot and see if it needs a new home, might wanna have the extra materials anyway just in case she is ready than you dont have to fux with it twice. :leaf:

ok thanks for all of your help! the bucket has about 10 holes in the bottom for drainage. should i move the soil away from the roots to check for the root bound? and what am i lookin for

if it is root bound you will see a large amount of roots collecting at the bottom, root bound means they are bound to that container hence the plant will not get any bigger till flowering.. Bigger pots=bigger roots=bigger plants=bigger buds.. Chain cycle effect friend. :leaf:

it is really hot here in the mid 90's with heat index around a hundred. would it do ok outside? or is it better off inside?

If they are not showing signs yet, after a couple of days up to a couple of weeks of flowering is when you can begin to determine the sexes of the plant. :leaf:

Marijuana naturally grows outside in hot temperatures just fine, it may take a bit to get used to considering you have had it in 70 degree temps for 2 months.. but Sunlight is the best light.... :leaf:

Thats not 100% true you can get lrg. plants from a very small pot. On the other hand. If you grow like me the bigger pot is beter. That one of mine is in a 5 gal. I will take 2 clones a month. Veg each set for 30 days then flower for 120 day at the end of the first 120 days I will be able to harvest 2-4 oz every month.

its not rootbound. Yay! would i be better off putting it outside after dark it will be about 75? Full sun is best and no shade is that right? Glad this site is here full of great mentors!

is the fert im using ok? and how long after the plants start vegin can i put them outside safely?
You can put them outside right after germinating them, it is a lot of preference.. There are many different ways to grow this wonderful plant, pick whichever one suits you best. remember when growing outside if you have neighbors, big stinky plants can cause problems.

I reccomend Fox Farm products, other than tomato plant food i have not used anything else though.. nice results from the FF though...:leaf:

i live on my parents land of 120 acres, 5 of which is mine. closest neightbor is about 7 acres away and we live 15 miles from town! not visible from the main road at all! I want to have healthy plants and a really nice harvest! Ihave plenty of room to place plants in the ground if that will work best!

If you can grow a tomato plant your good to go. I say boo to fox farm just because they over charge. If you can plant outside and give them just a little love you'll be happy.

I would definitely recommend that... Just one thing you need to watchout for is pests. The major downfall of growing outside (besides getting caught) is not being able to control the conditions that which you grow in. :leaf:

I would go to the outdoor grow section with those questions, not really meant for this thread and I bet they can cover it WAAAY better.. my guess would be every 2-3 days though. :leaf:
