Okay, in my previous thread I've stated i'm growing mids plants for practice. But, i'm planning ahead and want to start preparing for the real deal.

Now, I've been browsing, for the most part I can understand everything. But I get confused here and there. Me and my friends will be using my friends shed. Light gets in there, So I told them we'd have to board it up and then on the boards place reflective material. Would I be correct in assuming that?

Also, I think i'm going to go the rock wool route. Or would you recommend soil? How will I get everything ventilated? If I plan on growing no more than 3 plants at a time how many lights (better yet watts) will I need? And is a ph and humidity reader absolutley mandatory?

I'm sorry for the long read I just want to make sure I have everything absolutely down. I plan on growing nother lights or hindu kush from seeds I found on Nirvana-shop. Any other strains you recommend.

Again...thanks. :eyesmoke: smoke one fo me

how tall can your plants be? that will tell you how many lights to use. if you have 10 foot cielings then 3 ea 1000 watters. if plants are going to be 2-3 footers SOG type then 1 ea 250 watter will cover 4 plants.

the 250 willl cover a 1.5' x 1.5' x 3'. the 400 wil cover a 2' x 2' x 4'. the 600 will cover a 3' x 3' x 6'. the 1000 wil cover a 4' x 4' x 8'. height is measured from light to top of pot. you can get more plants around the outer edge. however, the buds will not get as large.

one of my favorite setups are 5 plants under a 1000. 3-5 gallon pots flower plants at 2-3 feet. get 3 - 7 ounces each plant depending on strain. i do not have the height or i would do 1 per light. you want purples to get 3 feet at least before flowering. the cali kushes strech so much, 2 feet is good for them to start flowering.
