I have a plant with 2 colas, without me doing anything!

Ok I have a plant I call "Mae" she is the only I have of her strain and I only assume she will be a she (hopefully) anyways she slpit and grew 2 colas. I never topped or fimmed her or anything. What a freak huh?

I'd love any advise or comments, I'm a new grower so I dunno.:peace::joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

I happens sometimes and I suppose for a number of reason.

Last time I seen it happen, happened from the first node and plant lagged behind big time so it got pulled. Your looks well past theat stage but so gl :shock:

Well, the word colas if I'm not mistaken refers to the top-most buds on your plant, not the stem or main stem. I have seen this occur outdoors and in many other threads on this site. Be thankful! You now have 2 main shoots that main buds will initiate from. Congrats!

My bad, thanks for correcting me and the comment as well.
I just hope it is a she and not a he...
It's the last one of that strain I have, if it is male I will mature him downstairs and collect his nuttings LOL
 
look - ever thing we know is form watching plant naturly grow out doors these tehcnecs come from plant that we thought were messed up but turnned to find out where OK fimming came from someone trying to top and fucked up and then gat to scared to continue to later find out it made 2- 4 colas is this to say that a plant cant it self say hay i want 2-4 colas nooooo! a plant can do what ever it want to do

it also could be evolution! from many years and genneration of being topped and fim that the genes mutated and started self fimming yes this is a far fetched but still possible gene mutation happined all the time look at humans a lot of sterio types are true becouse of area that the people live in first the body adapted them the genes will so that the next generateion will have less stress
 
Well neat-o all the same, for a noob like me doesn't take to much to get me going, my luck it will be male.

I have one that is the same...it was "mutant" at first..I got rid of the lame limb. Now it is my largest plant!!! Budding nicely (I posted earlier about its leaves), although I had some concerns...so far so good..It has fat stalks too!..Attached are a couple pics of what it is doing ;-)

I never thought it could do it on it's own.
 
kinda odd but it will work out for the best. your plants look pretty good. only critique i have is you could really use some more lighting. 3 for 3 plants is kinda weak. i like at least 3 cfls per plant. more if possible. you may also want to consider flowering soon. cfls dont get great light penetration and you will do better with short stockier plants.

I have 3 gros going so my budget is strectched. They have to wait until my others are out of flower, I am ordering 12 200/42W 6500k CFLs for veg they are under 100, so that's less than $9 each at homdepots website,

I know I can never get enuf light, im running over 3000W of rated CFLs already.
 
Yeah it's looking more and more like a male.... :-(
Ill give it a few more days before I make my mind up....

I could almost swear I saw some fem preflower in the fourth pic of your first post...backside of the stems?

I wish, that was almost 2 weeks ago, Ill post update on these today but I see more like balls forming than flowers, BUT they are still under veg lights. so..
Thanks tho, I am keeping him tho because I dont have any more of that strain and I think it was a kick ass one, so ill catch some pollen to knock a bitch up with later and come up with something maybe better who knows.
