I have a light question for a small grow spot.?

WELL I WAS USUALLY HAVING 192 WATTS OF CFL'S IN A 2 SQUARED FEET CABINET THATS 5 FEET TALL. WELL I WAS TALKING TO MY RELATIVEAND HE HAS A 1000 HPS AND IS GOING TO LET ME HAVE IT SINCE HE HAS ABOUT 20. SO I WAS THINKIN. HOW STUPID AMM I TO PUT THIS 1000 WATT HPS IN THIS GROWING SPACE? WILL IT BE A FIRE HAZZARD? WOULD IT BE FINE WITH TOWER FANS IN THERE? OR SHOULD I JSUT FIND ANOTHER GROWING LOCATION AND ABOUT HOW BIG SHOULD IT BE?

TARDED yes, just buld a 10x10x10 room with 2000cfm fans and filter and your on top....and a fire extinguisher

it's great to have the HPS, but for a first grow there's nothing wrong with cfl's
i use 78w of cfl's in a 1.2 sq ft space, results are just fine for my needs
cfl's are easy to setup, not quite the danger a HPS system can be if you're new at it

man you will love your HPS if you get it setup right and running well. 2 sqft won't work though man. Maybe if you were 10-12 ceiling height and you could look at vertical or something. Is a tent a option?

I would say find some people to throw down some money and get setup right. Tell them you will give them a 1/4 pound off first harvest for $500

Then you can get setup right and get a good yeild. Your friends will be happy and you will be happy
