I hate that when it happens......
What to do:
I live in a Canyon area, coyotes, bobcats, RABBITs, rats, you name it. I have a 6 foot cyclone fence which doesn't really matter to any of them. I have seen the coyotes scale the fence like climbing a ladder.
1) Plant in pots
2) Cover with chicken wire to keep them out.
3) Cayanne Pepper, Ivory soap spread it around.
4) Korean Jindo - Small hunting dog in backyard
Ordinarily the coyotes and bobcats keep the Rabbits at bay. But my dog likes rabbit. He's a hunter so he doesn't eat them, just lays the carcass where the other rabbits can see them.
I will be putting some plants out in a few weeks. Sturdy clones which I will veg inside a bit. I will put them in 3 gallon buckets to get them started. Then 1 will go into the Flower box and the other will go into a 15 gallon bucket.
I will not put any in the ground, or the rabbits will get them.
