No offense to both you guys but this is way too complicated and full of problems. I still say get a bottle or a bag of a 1 part cannabis nute (proven) and get on with it. Add calmag if using RO. that's it. something for root rot. KISS.

Just a matter of tweeking... I'm only thinking out loud. The plants look good really no need to change

I'm thinking the high K from the ph up potassium bicarbonate may be limiting the calcium and phosphorus uptake. May need to switch to calcium carbonate... But like I say let's wait and see. Can try going back to 1ml but that may then not be enough buffer.

Some purpling going on?
Bubba is a purple strain.Or at least it always has been purple.

and i respect your knowledge. but in my experience, you get things close enough and you shouldn't need to worry about what ph up or down you are using and/or adding carbonates to stabilize pH.

pH in range, EC/ppm decent, nutes NPK ratio decent, no root rot should be no problems like this.

Yeah I don't think there are any major issues left but getting the buffer is important that means getting the right carbonate bicarbonate.

so new res is in,kept the ph up at 1.5 ml per gallon, food to 700,Mg at 8 grams total this gives about 50 ppm.still need a lot of ph down,my ppm pen says 850.its been 24 hrs no yellowing yet.Added a de humidifier to give me some heat and drop the humidity.Able to slow my vent fan down now to keep the heat up.Plants are growing crazy,in the stretch now.

Happy new year everyone!
Beginning of week 3 of 12/12. New res prepared continuing with 8g Mg per 12G ,1 ml/G h202. Not using pH up this res.Food ppm at 850.
One problem I’m having is ph being consistent. I find once I get it down to 5.7 it climbs for a couple of days then I drop it back down. After 24 hrs it starts to drop and I’m adding ph up. So this new res has more food and no ph up. Going to see what happens keeping my ph around 6. Finding my new ph pen is consistent with other pens when ph is neutral. As ph goes down my pen doesn’t read as low as others. So this is why I’m going to try hanging around 6 rather then 5.7.
Bubba is looking awesome still have the odd spot here and there but compared to last grow it’s a 100% improvement.
some pics. First is whole room second is the white widow. Third is bubba hydro ,fourth is group shot and fifth is bubba coco.

Flushing out my system today and noticed what looks like rock snot. I attached my filter to catch it. I noticed a leaf was sitting on top of my hydroton with my feeder hose. A bunch of green goo was left. This appears to be the result. I’ve been using h202 at 1 ml per gallon. Also some enzymes komplete at .5 ml per litre

I’ve had that same green snot plaguing my backup reservoir for awhile. No matter how many times I cleaned it & maintained it with hydrogaurd, that shit just kept coming back. Plus the water was cloudy with an obvious odor. I finally switched to 3% H2O2 (9 mL per gal) recently and its been great ever since & my plants are thriving. I’m also using it in my RDWC since it’s auto-filled by the back-up reservoir. The roots look better as well...see before & after pics.
(my plants are under scrog now so I can no longer lift the net pots for a better view)

Im using 30%@1ml per gallon,I think this goo/snot is from leaves sitting ontop of my pebbles.Gonna change the top feed back into the pail from the side. With everything scrohged in its a bitch to get in and look at roots.

That’s pretty much why I switched to rectangular buckets with hinged lids. I can still check roots, bulkheads, filters & switch out air stones while under Scrog.

I guess I had my days mixed up but it’s now week 3. Day 22 today. Alls good had to add another screen to half the room since they’ve stretched so much. Should be good now. The leds have given me another foot in height. Some pics. Ppm hanging around 750

Very Nice!
My grow is a few weeks behind you & I’m adding a second screen this weekend cuz my plants are out of control

Starting week 4 of 12/12, noticed some spots showing up again on bubba hydro. Last two res changes I’ve switched to my bloom nutes. 2-4-4. My veg was 3-2-5. Ppm around 650 -750. Ph 5.8-6.2. I’ve continued with adding Mg at 8 grams per 12 gallons. Haven’t added pH up last two res changes. Noticed the spots showed up more after switching to bloom nutes?Changing res today. Maybe should go back to my veg nutes. Other plants are doing great starting to frost up. Pics of spots on hydro bubba.

Your veg ratio is perfect for a full grow. Personally I feel bloom nutes are a gimmick. Plants still need nitrogen and a small boost to K can be beneficial. But the ratios these companies are coming out with are garbage if you ask me. P is way to fucking high with them and not enough nitrogen. You see P toxicity quite often with all the bloom shit on the market these days.

Well back to my veg nutes it is,
