I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Wasn’t sure what to call this thread. This is a spin off from the other thread where I switched to waterfalls and removed my air stones.

A little history, both my veg and flower rooms have 5 g buckets hooked to a separate res outside the rooms. Both rooms have strip led lights and are vented separately via vent fans. Temps are a little cold as I’m in Canada and are warmed via my house furnace.
Both systems rdwc fed top feed.

Problems started happening when I moved plants from veg to flower. Also this is when I upgraded my pump to add the waterfalls. Within days my plants went down hill. To be fair I also added some things I’ve never added before. H202 3% at 3ml/L. Armour Si at 25ml/130L. I also made the mistake of adding calmag after the armour si creating a brown solution. ( who knew). On top of that my ph pen went on the fritz.

So I came home from work to see leaves curling up splotches etc. On the other thread I thought I got root rot as the roots appeared to go brown.

Since then my plants are looking better. Flushed several times using an enzymes product has my roots new growth nice and white. So can’t blame the waterfalls it was my mistake of adding things to quickly.

So back to the point of this thread, I have a strain in rdwc that constantly gets these spots on the veins of the leaves. Look like a Ca def but I’m not sure it is. In the past I’ve tried a lot of different combinations of calmag low EC and high EC. Ph low and high. This same strain does well in coco and doesn’t show the same deficiency’s.
Here are some photos. First 2 are what I saw after I messed up my nute solution. Blaming waterfallsthird pic is said spots on veins. Last pic same strain in coco happy as hell.
Long winded I know. Really need to find out why this strain doesn’t like my rdwc. Thanks. Currently back on air stones smaller pump and top feed tuning 24/7.

I’ve since switched the way I mix my nutes also. In a pail I add 4 litres water add calmag. Add more water mix part1 add water mix part 2. Stir ph add to res. Repeat.i use to add calmag to res wait ad part 1 wait add part 2 wait. Ph for a couple of days to get it down

Here's my guess. You didn't add cal mag to your nutrient mix Very VERY FIRST before anything else. Also, didn't add each part I dutifully with stirring in between each.
I bet it's lock out. Suuuuure looks that way

This also happens in veg as the plant grows. Doesn’t show these signs until about a month after clones root. I keep the ppm food low. 400 ppm. Calmag at about 150 ppm. As the plant ages it gets worse. Doesn’t matter what room it’s in. The only thing that has helped a little is foiler with calmag at 150 ppm. Twice a day but only seems to slow it down?? I have tried 8 ml/ gallon calmag. 300 ppm ish. Same thing. I was convinced it’s the air stone hence switching to waterfall. Plant in coco does well same nutes was strength.

lol sorry I had to re read it.
It really looks like you are running the ppms too low for plants that size, its almost like you're just feeding them plain tap. I would usually run the Nutes @600ppm (calmag ppm not included).

In the last grow same strain I played with ppms didn’t matter if it was 500 or 1400 same thing happened

This has me to think that’s it’s the system. I’ve read before about calcium falling out of solution from air?? Not sure I believe that.

So are we just looking at old growth? The new growth seems better does it not? It appears that the sad looking leaves were from when you had issues that you corrected. They will continue to get worse but if the condition doesn't spread to other leaves I think you are good to go.

Ok so just to be clear the issues from my bad mixing is not the question here. I posted it because the waterfall / root rot issue I had posted in the. I gotta lose the air pump thread. It got all messed up so I posted the correction here.
My issue or question is the spots on the veins.
I have two ph pens now and drops. The color on the drops is yellowish with just a hint of orange. My ph pens say 6:0-6.1. Currently ppm is at 150 tap water 200 calmag 500 food. My ppm meter is off a little but it consistently reads 1200 when put into the 1000 calibration solution.
