hi mate.

Sorry I didn’t give enough information on the post apologies to everyone Just started my first grow haven’t got a clue this is why I posted I didn’t think I’d get as many reply’s this site is cool I’ll explain abit more I’m not looking my ac infinity to then into something it’s not.. I’m just having trouble with my humidity in my tent .. & I also have a ac van and I’m not sure what settings to use ect .. here’s a little about my grow

in my loft
in a grow tent which is 100x100
2 led lights
Ac infinity
100x100 what. Inches? Feet? Mandingos?
What kind of 'trouble' are you having?
Think of the exhaust fan as just that. It pulls air through your grow from a different area then exhausts it away somewhere else. Control your rh with dehumidifiers or humidifiers in a diff room then pull that air into the grow room and exhaust heat away.

It was at 50 i Sprayed some water on the sides of the tent now it’s at this (screenshot photo ). My van isn’t in tho? I’m confused .. my plant is in a photo also & when I turn on the van the humidity drops? When do I use my van I’m confused
Of coarse your humidity will drop with increased air flow... The air isn't sitting around gathering up the moisture.
Btw make sure you check your spelling before you post or else you're going to get eaten alive here

If you're at 50%RH now leave it. Don't spray water or anything else. Focus on keeping the plant healthy and not worrying about perfect humidity.

As the plant grows and creates biomass the tent humidity will increase.

Ditto that. You'll be trying to get the humidity to 50 during flower & trying to prevent powdery mildew. I've learned to defoliate more with each grow I've done.

Ya noobs always worrying about stuff like vpd. Something I've never even cared about whatsoever. Dunno what my vpd is. Don't care
I just try to stay a bit over 50% in veg and under 50% in flower.
That's about as far as I care about vpd.

I generally have my low fan setting to something like 2, then have my high setting to something like 7...then set up my limits.

So if my default is say a setting of 2, I set my high limits a few degrees lower than my high target. So if my true ceiling is 84f I set the upper cut off at 81 and I have the fan ratchet up 1 setting per degree...so it would hit 84 and the fan is spinning at 5. That way it raises the fan level slowly and if the fans pull enough through at whatever the temp drops by a degree and the fan ratchets back down. That way you're not jackrabbiting your temps up and down in big swings.

I do the same with the humidity, but I think I have it set for 2% increments per fan speed.

So right now it's humidity that's triggering not temps since my ambient room temps are where they should be...so this is what the humidity trigger looks like across a day for me with the fan running the way it should.

My lights-out runs 8:15 am-5:15pm and you can see that the humidity remains pretty flat with some slight corrections. During lights on, you can see that it remains pretty flat within a percent or so.

An inexperienced plant grower may not know the clues of poor environment by looking at the plants. However, there is an accepted range of VPD that they can target to get their environment in order.
