I got 99 problems and every one of them is a bitch

I’ll start of with my setup first and get to my problems later
32”x32”x62” LAGarden grow tent with a TS1000w Mars Hydro grow light
63”x27”x8’ closet that i wrapped with diamond mylar and made a floor tray with 2 TS1000w mars hydro lights.
I dont have a duct fan yet but i plan on getting an ACinfinty when i can afford it. Until then i have a small fan in my tent and a tower fan blowing in my closet.
I have 3.5 gallon fabric pots and im using a mix i made of Kempf coco coir and perlite. Im relying on nutrients through watering until im confident enough to make my own organic soil and and not put nutrients in my water.
Im using General Hydroponics Maxigrow and Maxibloom and GH ph up&down. I have some GH Exile ordered but wont be here until next week.
Now to my problems (pictures included)
All my plants are clones i bought from a dispensary and put straight to bud with the exception if 3. A friend and i both bought plants from 2 different shipments and have plants at 2 different stages. The first set look good and never had any problems, the second set, mine and my friends included which are in different apartments, have blight/ leaf septoria. Out of my plants the pink candy and bubba kush has yellow blotches on the leaves and necrosis. The budding gelato has necrosis but all leaves started yellowing equally. The veg gelato just has tiny brown spots everywhere. I made a solution of baking soda, neem oil, dawn and distilled water and sprayed everything down last night before lights out. I have GH Exile on the way for present and future problems. Any help on a correct diagnosis and treatment will be appreciated.

I've been growing for about 3 years now. I've had some bad grows, and some really good ones... so take this info for what you will (you be the judge of my experience :P).

I tend to use this type of chart when I'm trying to figure out what's going on: https://www.loudclouds.co/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/marijuana-deficiency-chart-jorge-cervantes.jpg

(if you can't see it, it's the one that shows nutrient deficiency and toxicity(tox left, def right) and shows the entire plant, explains some root issues along with leaf issues.

To me, you are seeing a combination of micro nutrient deficiency. Particularly Calcium and Magnesium (these uptake together by the plant). The spotting is the Cal, the discolouring of the leaf is the Mag.

Since you didn't say you had either of these in your regiment, I'd start there.

Also, I'd invest in any sort of fan that will exchange the air in your grow space. I can't say you are seeing specific problems because of it but if you aren't exchanging the air in the tent, the tent will have lower CO2 than the ambient in your house, it can only help. Even if you put an old PSU from a computer and hook up a bigger computer fan (you could salvage this all for free), just to get some air exchange in the tent itself.

I started on a super low budget... and did this very thing on my first few grows :P

MJCanada has you covered, looks like Cal-mg could help. What is your ph? Need to make sure it's in range so the plant can uptake the nutrients.

Thanks for the info. I have the Jorge Cervantes book lol. I guess the combination of the two deficiencies threw me off and when i googled the brown spots and yellowing i kept seeing things about blight and septoria. I haven’t added cal mag to my regiment yet but im ordering it tonight. Growing on a budget is a pain in the ass but i would rather do it this way and have a good learning experience instead of having money to throw at it until i get it right. I didnt have the money to buy all the fancy shit from the beginning so im having to get things as i need it.

What temp? What RH? Try for 45+ on RH and in the 80's for temp. Try adding a bit of Epsom salt to your nutes for Mg. If using tap, try a flush with RO water, thinking maybe you're having salt buildup that could be blocking uptake.

Damn those buds are frosty..that blue cookies. Yum
I think it might be a fluke lol. Beginners luck. Thanks

My temp stays between 75-80 and my humidity stays over 40. I haven’t been able to afford a duct fan yet so i leave my door open during daytime and use a tower fan part of the time for air flow. My humidity varies some but never drops below 40 Im buying a zipper for my mylar to make a door but for now i just clip it together and close it off 4’ high with the door open for part of the day and Run a fan for part of the day. Luckily with my job i can check on it every 4.5 hours. I use only distilled water, my tap water is shit. I ordered CALiMAGic tonight will be here thursday.

Personally, I wouldn't mess around with epsom to get mag; Cal and Mag uptake together, if either are deficient the other will have issues as well. The reason why CalMag(and all the other brands) exist is because that's how plants need it. $20CAD (so less if you are in USD) and you'll have enough to grow ~20plants in 5 gallon pots(start to finish using 5ml per gallon). I can say this from experience. It's one of the cheapest things you can do.

BTW, I also grow using MaxiBloom and MaxiGrow. I rarely just use MaxiGrow though as I found it was too low in P & K for veg. I usually went about 50:50 grow:bloom, and as I transitioned to flower I faded the grow out, until I was full bloom; then I supplemented with koolbloom and faded both towards the end of flower.

Every strain can be different. I've grown DoubleGlock that I needed to go 75:25 grow:bloom, and I still found I could barely keep up with the N needs. That is the only strain that I have grown so far that has drastically different nutrient needs then everything else(I've grown DoubleGlock, WhiteWidow, 24k Gold, OG Kush, Sour Diesel and 2 bag seed mystery strains).

I am not a soiless medium grower, I grow in soil as I didn't want to put all the weight on my shoulders to getting the nutrients/PH correct(soil has nutes and PH buffer) so again, take my advice with a grain of salt ;) (pun intended :P)

Sure. I just was curious if they had plenty of Ca in the medium due to tap water, and the issues looked like a bit of Mg. Ca can lock out other elements due to its electronegativity and the thinness looked like maybe they had been battling for a bit. Even with perfect nute ratios, if your medium is salty you're gonna have a bad day. Epsom is MgSO4, and MJ loves sulphur, so its actually a good additive to use if you're only suffering from Mg def, as sulfur toxicity is pretty much non-existent. Coco is notorious for locking up Mg in the medium as well.

No such thing as a fluke. Own that shit lol
Hell yeah. Took me awhile to actually take some credit for my first grow. I thought it was a fluke also, till my second grow which will harvest in a week or so. If all you did was throw a seed in some dirt and it came out like that, then it would be luck

Yes because there were big dead spots and the closest thing i could tell that looked similar was blight. I removed the leaves to stop the spread. But only the ones with dead spots
If the dead spots are from Ca deficiency...don't pluck them. Learn the difference and you'll handle it better next grow.

If i dont remove the leaves with the brown spots cant they rot or create fungis? Im not talking specks im talking pinky nail sized dead spots
