I go in for 108 days tomorrow.

Damn dude that sucks. I did thirty days last year. Wasn't my first visit but hopefully the last. See ya on the outside.

Good luck man, I myself owed the man 6 months at one time.Time goes fast, just stay busy the best you can.The best part is, prison is nothing like OZ! haha

Maybe Canadian prisons aren't. American prisons are insane. The famous Marc Emery just caught bloody Flesh eating disease and almost dies, his cell mate actually did die but not before they cut his leg off to try and save him. I'm sure a short stint of a couple months is fine but there is no fucking way I would want to spend longer than 6 months in a US prison.

Nah I knew I was guilty the entire time. Long story short, I got into a fight with someone and ended up using their house telephone to beat them senseless.

Well in the world we live in today, that'll get you 4 charges. domestic violence, assault, destruction of a communications device, and malicious destruction of property.
 
Not even worth five minutes in jail for that imo. If someone does that to you then you deserved it and should grow a backbone and take the consequences, not be a pussy and press charges.

Yeah if you get into it and a DV occurs and you smash or rip a phone out of the wall yes, the charge reads "destruction or disconnection of a communcations device"

Basically rendering their only way of calling for help useless.
