I think if I was american I would probably feel that way 2, secrets or no secrets, they are a super power and will probably continue to be. I'm not american and not a superpower country but I feel fourtunate that my country "appears" to be a little less nasty in the world politics/forien policy etc.

on the subject of all this, you said its illegal bc the man cant make money off it, chronic is a cash crop and lotsa money could be made off it, when it first started comming to the US it was smuggled over by illegal mexican immigrants, and so they made it illegal and propigated it as a drug that would kill you soley to help with border control, nowadays people know better but they keep it illegal bc you know how sutbborn the government is and how it hates being wrong

yes but if it was legalised then everyone would grow their own rather than buy it from the governments fat hand. therefore the corporations wouldnt benefit from the legalisation, and so there is no point legalising it from the governments perspective

amongst other reasons of course!

yea I hate to break it to you but you are wrong with much of the stuff you said..... There is NOWAY the Gov. could make money off of it like they do with tabbaco and Alc. For example. A pack of tobbaco ciggs costs lets say 350 where I am located... About $2 of that is souly tax. The same goes for Alc. Now on the other hand a pack of Marijuana cigs would cost around $15 if not colser to $20. I myself know that I would smoke at least a pack a day. There is absolutly noway i can afford $20 a day whatsoever! Thats rediculous! $140 a week? comeon now! Its much more easier and economical for me to grow my own! The Gov. is not worried about this with Tobbaco because it is simply impratical to grow your own! And the same goes for Alc. home brewed Alc. (for the most part) tastes horrible and is really time consuming! Some people say "well it would be massed grown so prices would drop" Bullshit! Mexican weed is around $500 U.S. per pound. Sure thats like $31 an ounce... But do you wanna smoke mex. Weed? Me neither. Hence my point. To grow good bud they would have to grow like good bud commercial growers do now. And there prices would not be much lower then theres. You can get a pound of danky dank straight from the grower for around $1200 where I live. How do I know this? Because i am him lol. You have to annalyzie and think of everything brother. You are just scratching the surface! Not trying to be mean! everything comes with time and reading, reading, and reading!

The Government can make money off of anything if they want to. What you said about mass growing is the point I'd like to touch on. The reason that even garbage Mexican weed is ~$500 a pound is because there is still risk involved as Marijuana is illegal. Legalize it, mass produce it, and prices will definitely NOT be 15-20 dollars a pack. Cigs contain a bunch of crap in them and are more difficult to produce than any joint is. The Government has deep pockets and could easily make money doing it. People are still afraid of weed in this day and age... That's why I believe it won't be legalized anytime in our lifetime. Kind of like prohibition in the 20's and early 30's in America. Alcohol was illegal due to fears of the problems it cause, whether problems were real or not.

if governments legalised marijuana then they could tax it, they could then use the money to tackle hard drugs like heroin which actualy cause the problems like crime. marijuana doesnt ruin lives like most drugs like alcohol and tobacco which are legal, heroin is easier to come by in ireland because dealers take weed off the market for months at a time to get ppl on2 it if mj was legal that wouldnt happen because mj would be more potent because it wouldnt be cut and ppl wouldnt need heroin 2 get stoned. our minister for finance admitted 2 smokin weed and the media went crazy at him then he got the most votes in the country in our general election. in 10 years theyll hav 2 leagise it everywhere or else there will be a far bigger hard drugs problem.

If the gov tried to legalize pot and tax it, most of us would just grow our own.
I can't make Miller Lite Beer or Dewars Scotch at home, and I can't make Marlboro Cigarettes at home, so the goverment taxes and controls them. But I can grow pot! I can grow Pot better than the gov can grow and cheaper too.

I mentioned to her why would she feel this world when we live in a nation where they will not legalize the use of cannibis souly because "The Man" cannot make some profit off of it. A country that knowingly knows about 9/11 and lets all those people die for the soul purpose to get americans rallied together and have a reason to go and invade Iraq. A country where every law, law enforcment agency, and even the president himself is so crooked I personally do not know how they sleep at night! Needless to say that this got her thinking a bit and she started to see things a little differently. I also explained to her how I had found god in the past months and have became very spiritual (something I thought she had known) She began to cry (something I have not seen my mother do in years) and replied "I'm so happy for you changing your ways and finding god how did you do it?". I replied saythign that cannibis and its spiritual and mind lifting properties have helped me connect with christ in ways I have never dreamed immaginable. That growing my own crop has brought me closer to god then I ever dreamt possible. AFter a little more talking I had totally changed her views!!! I was shocked!!! Here is the most oppinionated, stubborn, hard headed lady I have personally met in my life and I changed her view in a few hours!!! I had tried to many times but I guess I did not word everything right or elaborate enough or something! I was really shocked! She not only accepts what I do, BUT NOW SHE ENCOURAGES IT!!! It really has mad me a happier person inside (not that I wasn't extreamly happy before) knowing that I have the support of my mother instead of her hating me for smoking cannibis. :mrgreen:

my parents know all my things about anything in my life.when i start smoke i do this without hiding from them.and now i growing my own and my parents know this too.my mom just say;don't try to sell this stuff to anybody.peace.:peace::joint:

Yea I used to sell a whol whole lot. Twoards the end I was pushing 15 a week.... I learned my lesson. Thtas just stupidity lol.
