I don't understand why people prefer sativa over indica

It seems that most people enjoy sativas more than indicas and I just don't get this. I stick to indicas mostly, because they actually get you high, and when I switch back to smoking sativas, it's like dropping down a grade and I don't get as high. So if you enjoy sativas more, why do you, and if you enjoy indicas why do you think that sativa is sought after more often when the effects are not as great?

i like both sativa and indica, i like to harvest some of each at various stages, milky trichs and amber trichs, and a mix of milky and amber. Depends on what kind of high i prefer as to what i smoke at any particular time. Amber triched Indica at night can't be beat for sleeptime.

ADHD or sleep disorders, which most people have, Indica is the way to go for sure. I get high on Sativa but it keeps me wide awake.

Bottom line is we are crazy and need Indica

i like sativa that give me a nice clear head high,but i don't like the trippy sativa high when I'm bored or just sitting.I like indica that gets me high but not to stoned all the time,so I'd rather like to have a mix of both 60/40 indica

Different high's... different medical purposes... this question goes so in-depth... too high to talk about this one.

They are just different high's some people like Indica's some like Sativa's it's that simple... I prefer Indica's as well but thats just my preference. I know several people who will only smoke Sativa's but, most of my friends prefer Indica's as well...

Different highs and for different med reasons. I love my indica for my ADHD and insomnia. But for my joint and back pains sativa's work the best. I'm more of a CBD guy. Not realy THC to get high. So as you can see how this is going everyone will say something different. Just comes down to personal likes.

Back in the day sativa was all that was available. I didn't care for some of it, it made my heart race and made me anxious. Imdica is nice and relaxing. I prefer either Indicas or hybrids, sativa once in a while, mostly like at a party or something because it makes me feel speedy

for one thing the indicas are shorter and bushy but Sativas can grow more than twice as tall 10-15+ft outdoors. maybe growers don't have the patience, so these wind up being harvested too early (indoors especially), before the potency and taste are highest. with a regular seed it could turn out dominant either way randomly but only with clones you know how it will turn out.

I like sativa's because I can medicate and earn a living at the same time.
But soon as I get a job that pays me for sleeping..........

Why do some prefer Ford over Chevy or vice versa?

Depends on my mood. Usually I prefer sativa for the high. At bed time I love indica.
My preference, if I had to choose would be Sativa. The high is tripping, and fun.

I know and i'd never actually get one. I would get one of those old school coach vans that are high off the ground with the softest seats ever, tons of leg room, and shit man, you could sleep in there anytime, along with keep any nosy people out with shades and what not. I probably wouldn't smoke in it though. Getting pulled over and taken out of your car sucks ass.
