Personally, I've made the switch from Hydroguard to Great White. The Great White seems to last longer, and certianly has a longer shelf life compared to Hydroguard. I always felt that having good bennies in your root zone stabilized PH, I can't help but think that the roots benefit from having good bacteria just like they do when they're in soil...
