Hydro is a way of growing, rather than a type of seed or strain ...

here is what Wiki had to say about it...

" HYDROPONICS (from the Greek words hydro water and ponos labour) is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, without soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, or mineral wool."

Hope this helps.....

i would agree that a seed is a seed is a seed. can be grown any method.
but could it also depend on how the parents were grown. then if the offspring were grown the same way could you have hybrid vigor?

you cannot change one's dna by feeding them in a different manner...

if you eat soup or steak, you genetic code will remain unchanged...

Now, I would say that there are different strains that thrive in different conditions...

But you cannot change one's dna by altering eating habits.... noteven in a plant....:o

The plant will be what it has been programmed to be, for any given set of conditions....

If the seeds are white it may mean that they aren't fully mature and ready to be germinated.
Like if the plant was harvested while the seed is still immature.
Maybe the seed will grow, but depends on if it made it far enough through maturation.
