Would it be ok to take my week old sprouts outside for some real sunlight. They are on a hydroponic drip right now @ half nute strength. If it is ok how long would they be alright. Should I start them out slow and gradually increase time outside? Because I would like to give them natural light once a day if possible.

Sunlight is way stronger than artificial light. I would put them in broken sunlight for a couple days first.

How would you transfer them out? What kind of setup do you have?

I have them in rockwool 4" cubes they are 7 days old as of today. I thought I would just remove the tray from the reservoir and go from there. Her are some pics.DSCN0997.jpgDSCN0998.jpgDSCN1001.jpgDSCN1007.jpg These pics are a couple days old. I have Lemon Kush and one Nothern Light Blue auto. Thanks for input.

My flowering tent has a 4" sunleaves exhaust 200 cfm and I will be using a 400 watt hps for lighting. Have 2'x2' ebb n flow which I will be flowering to plants @ a time.DSCN0968.jpgDSCN0988.jpgDSCN0990.jpgDSCN0991.jpg

If you have just a sodium bulb vegging outside would be beneficial. Besides getting a lot more light, your internode lengths will be shorter. Sodium lamps will make your plants stretchy in Vegetative. That is a nice little table. Is this your first shot at hydroponics? Everything looks brand new.

Yes as a matter of fact it is my first grow. The hps bulb is for flowering lol. I have 8 fluorescent 6500k bulbs for vegetative. Well, I bought my drip system at the home depot. Called the versa flow I believe. Only cost 188 and came with pump and pots. I think it is great. I have two 5x5 tents . One for veg. and one for bud. I did take the ladies outside today for about an hour. This gave me time to bleach down my tent, add some distilled water and get my ph @5.8. After a couple times of watering my ph reading is at about 6.3. I also added half strength Liquid Karma. The plants seemed to really love the outdoors today. I did what you suggested just partial sun. At any rate I am very jazzed to see the plants growing and doing alright. It is 8 days today! I will be getting more pics this week sometime. As Ever,

Be careful taking them outside. It may be better to put them next to a window or something. Introducing them to outside elements could end up disastrous. Soil-bourne pests could infiltrate your Rockwool. Why even take the chance? Just my two cents.
