this is going to be THE litmus test, this is HIS base..he's a lazy fvcker, who doesn't give a shit about anyone and that's going become very clear soon.
I want to believe. I can't without evidence. Did anything change politically in Texas after their disaster?

The last update looks like it's going to hang out on the coast for an extra day, then ramble to the south and west. It's been a long time since Hugo. I'm betting most in the Carolina's haven't ever rode out a big one. Good luck to all effected by the storm.

I'd like to believe you but unlike you, I didn't see anything to indicate a polical shift in the primaries. The article you posted came out in Nov. 2017. By July, 2018, the same newspaper you cited had this article:

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/politics/texas/article/Political-anger-eases-after-Harvey-but-remember-13111505.php

HOUSTON — Early this year, Betsy Scheer was angry. Really angry.

Her West Houston home was inundated by the historic flooding from Hurricane Harvey, and had faced week upon week of excuses from various officials and agencies on why the debris couldn’t be cleared up, why she couldn’t quickly rebuild, why it seemed to take forever to get a phone call or e-mail returned — if ever.

“Earlier this year, I would probably have said I was going to vote against everyone in office — mostly the Republicans — but I think I’m about back to normal and I’m going to vote for most of them again,” said the retired human resources executive on a recent afternoon outside her home west of Barker Reservoir. “My friends are mostly the same way now.”

Eleven months after Hurricane Harvey upended everything about life in Houston and along the Texas Gulf Coast, the political pushback in the November elections likely will be minor for most Republican incumbents, far from what Democrats were banking on earlier this year — and far from what many residents themselves predicted, say experts who have studied the impact of natural disasters on politics.

There might be a bounce for liberals due to the timing of this storm ahead of the mid-terms but it takes a long time for attitudes to shift. Before too long, the people of NC will be carping about illegal immigrants and not the bungled disaster relief that is sure to happen under Trump.

Lol, the average hurricane has 10 x Hiroshima power per second. Nuking it will add energy to it and contaminate the atmosphere with radioactive materials.
Trump science says it will blow the hurricane out.
Real science says bollocks

Talking about real science, how about if the people of North Carolina use fans to blow the hurricane back to the Canary Islands where it came from. I insist the maths is solid! Ten fans pointing east by each household in North Carolina would just about do it.

Spokane residents launch campaign to blow smoke back to Canada

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45250923

They calculate that if each resident places at least five fans on the roof of their home, the city of 550,000 people could blow the smoke back. The organisers insist their maths is solid. "Team work makes the dream work," they wrote in the Facebook event page they created to promote the idea. "Let's do this, Spokanites. Let's send this smoke right back to those Canucks!"

Spokane is about 200km (125 miles) south of the Canadian border

bucky likes to twist everything to fit his agenda. And my desire to keep some cultures separate he twists that into some bs racial issue, when again its how people think not their friggin skin color that I want to keep at two ends. And the nazi thing is the typical Hitlers last stand argument. I disagree with him so I'm a nazi supporter. He justifies this with more bs.

bucky is fake news, old fake news.
