when cloning with Rapid Rooters and the 2 tray system with a dome, should i start with the dome completely closed? when should i open it? i understand just pay attention a week or two into the grow but mainly when starting out...do i want them completely shut?

also i was told the Rapid Rooters have enough moisture when you open them that they dont need any water to start...how should i water them and how often? spray the dome/plants? or put water in the tray underneath?

FYI i have a 72 tray and am only trying 6 clones to start, under 4 26 watt cfls 2 feet above the dome...

leave it closed and if it is the one with slits on the side then after a few days open them a lil bit you shold take it off a few times a day to spray them though

right two of them are completely wilted to the max, just bent over and hanging over resting on the tray....are these ones a lost cause?

maybe ,maybe not when did u cut them ?keep the dome on them allways..when u take the dome off to spray that is enuff air for them.try not to spray them to much , u want them to think if they dont down roots quick they will cark it.

i cut them yesterday....one is standing up and 2 are down for the count...but im counting lol

i have the 72 cloner tray and dome, but only have 4 clones inside of it....is this too much dome for only 4 plants?

if you dont spray then theri is really no way the plant is getting enough water, you need to spray, and most do so

please help some people say close dome some say crack the vents in dome, some say NO dome...wtf?

you got your answers already, leave the dome on except to spray, the place it back on leave the panels you could leae a crak open for fresh air to enter or could leave closed for a few days either way it is fine after about 5 days i would open them fully and still be spraying

i spray the clones once a day and the inside of my dome and my clones turn out fine.. if u have your transpiration rates down then its not to much of a problem

so should i leave them open a little or a lot, do i want more wind?

jeez due you got the anwser a few times now read post number 12. and the more wind means they will dry out faster witch is not that good to be having just crakc the vents for the first 5 or so days and then they should be fine with out the dome after that if they have roots
