I came on this thread to find out something about humboldt seeds have you grown any of there gear...also go to emerald cup..high times..canna live exspo..indo expo..have you been to any of them and talked to them your self?
I grew their Green Crack, which was a complete waste of time. One out of three plants actually had a sativaish high, the rest were stoney indicas.

I did talk to them once, asking them advice before starting their GC. They gave me bad advice. They told me it was going to stretch "hard" because it's a sativa. It stretched about 20%. It's the least stretch I've ever seen. Wasted half my grow space.

Now you're the one jumping around dodging facts. Dude lists breeders names like Bio Vortex who did Black DOG and you're still on some little kid "No they're not" type shit, naw.

So all American breeders sending the seeds oversea to Attitude and Herbies? Or do most of them sell through Spanish distributors?

And besides a company making false claims, no shit, lol They all do at some point. It is up to the consumer to do their homework before buying shit like a moron because it sounds good.
No, that's still you. Your response to "'they claim to be americans and are not and they sell fakes as the real deal to rob people out of their money" is "they work with an american". You have to be retarded or insane to think this is adressing the argument. You're dancing around like a weasel because nothing can contradict these simple statements of fact.

Also, claiming that victims are responsible of crimes perpetrated against them is perverse. It's the kind of thing pedophiles and rapists say.

Claiming that it's a common practice is also false and not an excuse. Also the type of argument a criminal would produce.

Exactly and he ignored the fact that any clone only strain that u make seeds from regardless of method used is going to have genetic variance so you’re going to have to pheno hunt to get a close representation to the original. It doesn’t mean they don’t have the original cut to breed from
No, that never happened.

Your comment was much more retarded than mine.

You can find some real heat in that "chemdawg"... Black Dog and Sour D #2 also had some winners
Chemdawg is already above ground.
And apparently there is more than 1 Humboldt, or their gear is being re-packaged.
Just noticed another Humboldt CSI thread here, showing a pic of a recent bean order; in your typical plastic bag.
My beans came in a fancy wooden box with product description inscribed, sealed shut with a glue gun to prevent tampering.
Same deal with the HSO OG kush, came in the wood box with their name and product description engraved.

I had to do a bit of research on this for my own purchases, cause I was getting mixed up. There are at least three different seed companies that are called Humboldt “Something”, with different genetics offered. Full names & common abbreviations are:
  1. Humboldt Collectibles & Souvenirs, Inc (Humboldt CSI)
  2. Humboldt Seed Company (Humboldt Seed Co)
  3. Humboldt Seed Organization (HSO)

CSI Humboldt is the real fucking deal. It’s run by Nspecta who actually lives in Humboldt and grew up there. He’s also become the authority on old school genetics, and everything he breeds and sells is completely legit. He’s not pretending to be from somewhere or something he’s not. When he has Chemdog seeds, they’re labeled as Chem91 S1, so you know exactly what you’re getting. Not “Chemdawg” who knows what it is or how it’s made.

fwiw when I was growing HSO "chemdawg" my buddy was growing Greenthumbs version and there were a few that you couldnt tell apart. I'm sure as hell not trying to get into any debate, and nowdays pretty much stick to domestic breeders, but I definitely found a few really great plants in that wood box.

Ive heard nothin but good things about CSI but havent personally ran anything from 'em at this time.

This should be interesting; I always back myself up with a proven strain upon beginning an unknown...just in case.
In this case, HSO is alongside a Bodhi cut from seed.
Will definitely update this over the holidays, after I smoke the CD; which am hoping tastes like a pinecone soaked in petroleum distillate.

lol. How many did you pop? what bodhi you running? Bodhi is one of my favorite breeders.. great guy, great genetics, great price :bigjoint:

I like to let most of my ladies run long, but I remember this one in particular did a lot of finishing the last week or two and most of them were throwing whites til the day I chopped. Most could come down around the 9 week mark but if you can hold off another 14-days you will be rewarded..

Granola funk on the Bodhi.

My 1 bubba's gift ending up getting a little stem rot, she didn't die and was green but stalled out. So I looked at her and right under the coco line the stem was damaged from damping so I culled her. Sucks cuz I haven't had that issue in a while and was looking forward to the BG. I still have another that I'm gonna pop in a another wk or so. My 3 black dogs are vegging nicely though.

Nspecta is a 3rd generation cultivator. Kevin Jodrey interviewed him on youtube. Worth a watch. I grew 1 seed of the Branded Purple which is Urkle X Chemdog # 4 under a 400 watt HPS and it was the most beautiful plant I have ever seen in my 30 years of experience. The genetics just jump out at you. It grew next to a very nice Dank Zappa from Bodhi which is basically a elite hashplant cross but the Branded Purple was prettier. The CSI Purple Urkle S-1 was incredibly beautiful too.

okay... theres Humboldt Seed Organization then there is Humboldt Seed Company.... both sound like they have great strains... only thing is Humboldt seed organization is in the U.K using U.S.A strains ??? where as Humboldt Seed Company is actually based in the united states ?? sounds like Humboldt Seed Organization is a gimmick... now before everyone gets there panties in a wad... i purchased a pack of the black D.O.G back in the spring when i purchased all my other seeds... the black dog seeds came the best packaged in a nice wooden block with the glass case secured inside... upon first inspection one of the 5 seeds were cracked one more was very dark almost black. so that left me with 3/5 seeds that looked decent. i used the paper towel method with all five seeds along with the other seeds from different breeders. after 4 days only 1 black dog germinated but every single other seed from different breeders all germed. the black dog seed that did germ was later pulled because it was a runt.

I'm hoping other people are having much better luck than i had with Humboldt Seed Organization i will be trying Humboldt Seed Company next !!

Umm. I've ran their "blue dream" and sour blueberry and now I'm growing black dog. 13 beans have been solid and germinated no problems.

Did you just look at the "black" seed but didn't try germinating it? Unless the seed is cracked open or they crush really easy in your fingers then it's pretty hard to eyeball whether or not it will germinate.

Also if one was cracked you could have taken a pic of it and emailed HSO and I'm sure they would replace.

The 2 on the right ends are East cake by cannarado, the other 3 are HSO black dog

Hey, yeah I did try to germinate. And also emailed the company and they were very helpful but my stupid self didn’t take pictures of the damaged seeds and just threw them away after I tried germinating... I probably got a bad batch. But it scares me cause right on there site it says “grown in the USA “ but is a European breeder. Also Instagram says they will not sell to the United States so you have to go through a different bank.... the Humboldt seed company strains look very promising and unique

CSI is fire. Did HPS on my first grow. Not sure on HSO. I killed my 2 hso freebies. I’m on my second grow. I do have a pack of cotton candy cane (BBHB x sweet tooth) from ETS which is related to HSO. ETS has regs

My pheno of blue dream is not weak sauce but not the flavor I want. The high is a racy sativa high and gets you good. In fact I'm smoking it now and got a good buzz going. Here's a little bud shot.View attachment 3867483
I also just did the sour kosher as well and she is a little more powerful than the blue dream. The sour kosher has a wonderful fruit candy smell and a fruity kush flavor.
A better looking plant and more potent than the hso blue dream.

Old posting, but what's up notsoesoteric!
Nice looking nuggage bud, most definitely. Hey how was the Sour Kosher growth wise, if you recall, like was she a cal/mag Hoover pre-flower?
