You eat plants. Plants are life. I am amused you distinguish so much and consider yourself superior when you are simply different.

Most Vegans suffer from many nutritional deficiencies and are overall less healthy than the normal population.

So innocent people murdered by the state, their lives and their families lives ruined is acceptable collateral damage?
I just want to make sure that I am clear on your stance ...that murdering innocent people is ok as long as you get your sense of revenge?
Side note: for those who say capital punishment is a deterrent.. how can you deter something by perpetuating the same action which you're trying to deter (murder)?
Annnnnd murder is wrong, RIGHT pro-lifers???
Capital punishment is not murder. Murder has a legal definition. Yours is not in line with the legal definition.

How do they slaughter beef? Do you feel that is cruel?

A little struggling during a lethal injection is far from cruel.

All this touchy feely shit has turned this country into a little bitch.

I voted for guillotine.
I voted for claw hammer.

Jesse Tafero was innocent of murder. In exchange for his testimony, Walter Rhodes was allowed to plead guilty to second-degree murder, and avoid the death penalty. He later changed his story and admitted to being the trigger man. Gunpowder tests were performed by the state. A federal appeals court confirmed that the test results indicated that Rhodes was the only one to have fired a gun. so yes an innocent man was executed for murder whilst the guilty was not.
accomplices to a felony which results in a dea th are ALL subject to murder charges, including murder 1 and the death penalty (where applicable) even if the felons were not directly responsible for the death (example: old man has a heart attack while the bank is being robbed = murder charges (including murder 1) for all involved in the crime)

thus tafero was NOT "innocent"

he was innocent of murder. The one that pulled the trigger did not get the death sentence, because they thought he was innocent of murder until he confessed. Are you really that naive to think that someone innocent of the crime accused were actually innocent. poor dear. Santa Claus lives with the Easter Bunny and Jesus loves you.

he was NOT innocent, he was as much a part of the crime as the button man, he just didnt roll over on his accomplices.

all 3 should have stretched a rope for their crimes, but limp wristed prosecutors love cutting deals.

I suggest you go and read the story. Have a great day/night

the story implies he didnt hold the button man's smoking gun so the shooter could drive the carjacked getaway ride?

he didnt participate in the shooting or the getaway carjacking?

it wasnt his gun the shooter used?

you must read funny

As far as 'most humane', I'd say guillotine.

I think only cases with undeniable evidence should be considered for capital punishment. If there's a video, and witnesses and it's exceptionally brutal or something along those lines.

...but why not the firing squad? .308 rounds are cheap and very effective. Removing the head would probably piss a lot of people off, but the death would be quick and painless.

Couple Valiums and a few rounds of .308 would make for very frugal prisoner execution.
