I just wanted to add this, in case you wanted to try and save a bit of cash....if you are growing plants that are 4' or less, you don't need to use 5 gallon buckets. 3 gallon pots are about perfect for plants that size, and are actually less than 3 gallons and will save you about 1/2 the soil that you'd need for those 5 gallon buckets. Just my 2 cents.lol

Thanks man, my plant was around 4 foot last year but I didnt do shit for it, planted it in straight clay soil. So I guess 5 gallons wouldnt be to bad, 7 gallons?

The more growing room you have for your roots to grow in, the more each plant will yield. If you don't want your plant to be tall then there are method's you can use to keep them low. i.e scrog,LST super cropping etc etc. Granted you may have to veg them longer but if your after a half decent yield then that is what you must do....

GL and get some pic's on here for us to have a look at next time. It help answer some of your questions...
