How would I set this up

I bought a Sun Hut LG grow tent its 54" Deep X 35 1/2" Wide X 84" Tall. I was thinking of going with one 1000 watt MH/HPS or can you run two 1000 watt MH/HPS or Two 600 MH/Hps , how do you figure out how big of fan do you need, can you run two lights off one fan, I know this has probably has been asked I looked but I didn't see a grow tent section.

In a tent this size I would say a 1000watt would be plenty. If your worried about light not hitting all the space get a light mover it will take care of what very very little space wont be taken care of. As for the fan size you figure cubic foot, google square feet to cubic feet and use the math equation provided. Im pretty sure a 6in would be plenty or 400cubicfeet. A 1000 will work fine. And a 6" fan with a larger cfm filter will be good. But how are you going to cool it. 1000 get hot as hell fast.

was going to run venting into the attic, and going to buy a window ac unit, to keep the room cool. so do leave one end of the hood open not connected to ducting correct or do you use two ducts one intake thru light hood and back out the tent, correct, both ways would work correct, but which one draws away more heat, the less heat the better correct

Best way would be to have your hood sealed from your room. Sucking cool air from outside tent pulled thru hood and out to attic. And a scrubbing filter inside tent set for high temp. But that way needs 2 fans and 3 holes in the top of your tent. Or a Eco way is to have a filter up high in the tent. Duct that to the hood then to the fan and out to the attic. Fan should be on 15 min befor light turns on and 15 after it turns off.

You need to pull air from outside of the room, through the sealed hood, back out to a different room. If you have the hood intake in the tent or even in the room with the AC, it's going to be sucking your cold air out also.

is there a link or some website that explains to you how to setup and start growing,in my new to me tent, new to using a 1000 watt MH/HPS light, I have used T5's and CFL's. I now want to step up my game and grow some monsters
