How to tell if they are finished and ready to be chopped

nothing has changed. it's still a plant. i know how to grow plants. plain and simple. it why i'm as successful as i am. you can argue with me all day. meanwhile i'm still growing good pot. ;)

I will not argue with you because I know you take great offense to being factually proven wrong and once again I will likely be 'pestered' again and given infractions for picayune things and then given another 10-day, or longer, ban if I continue until people accept that I am talking scientific facts and you are talking chosen accepted beliefs, so I know I will come out on the losing end one way or another so it would be rather counterproductive for me to do that.

So you win simply by being the biggest dog on the block.

If the policy of this site is to suppress knowledge rather than advance it, just let me know and I will stop sharing facts and instead only talk beliefs based on what is seen with the naked eye and experienced when smoked, like you do. But if this site is for the advancement of knowledge it would be nice if those behind the RIU curtain would not say and do all they can to suppress facts they choose to not accept.

bricktop you really seem like you know what youre talking about. Im on the side of scientific fact over "personal experience".

if light breaks down thc only after its been harvested, then whats the point of leaving the plant in the dark for 72 hours at the very end? does the plant keep producing THC with the lights off? what about the calvin cycle, which requires light?

I left 2 in where they where and took two out ( all clones from one mother) and sat them in the dark, temps and humidity could not be same being I can adjust to the lights being on and having more heat than in the dark. After 24 hrs I saw some noticeable difference but was not impressed just yet, after 48hrs I was impressed enough to see what 72 hrs would look like. What I found was the 2 in the 12/12 still did not put on much more trichs nor did the trichs ripen all that much more, and the 2 in 72 hrs dark had many more trichs (frosted up) and the few clear went cloudy and the lots of the cloudy went amber.
lol golden stop spreading nonsense.... the 24-48-72 hours of darkness thing is a myth... it does not raise thc, cbd, or cbn or any amount of cannaboid in the plant that werent already present...

Come on Fade, you know as well as I do that unless one conducts an experiment first hand, then it's just a myth. I am sure if I looked around I could find pics, but then I would be defending my honor on being truthful all day. So I say to you Dear Fade, give it try and see what you think?
Myself I limit my risk and use 4 -6 ladies only. I do not like to waste time and $ . That is why in another Posted thread I have on soils is limited. Dam Good thing too.
:joint:

One Gardeners Myths are Word in another's. That and one only knows for sure if they try it, so basically I am saying, you can't call me wrong until you see it first hand.:roll:
Pardon me while I load a big fat bowl of SLH

 There's two things I enjoy breaking; Rules, and expectations.

And I thought you held high expectations.

Most "myths" can be safely tested in your own garden and some "myths" are just rubbish and one should be smarter than that ie, P ing in plant soil, etc.
Going to add staying away from bangarang. :peace:

Can you add tomato juice in a hydro-bubble-ponics set up? I also want to know if you can add molasses in a hydro-bubble-ponics set up? If you can, how much, and how often? The only thing I use now is superthrive and a nute of 15-30-15. I have been flowering for almost 3 months and the tricomes are only milky colored. The small leaves that suround the flowers(not the big fan leaves) are all turning purple and curling uptwords the flowers. I am wondering when harvest time will come. If people can help with my questions I will post some pics so you can see the girls. The crazy thing is every time I have used a hydro system every plant is a nice bushy female. never had any males. I only get males when i use soil at a 50/50 ratio. The bottom 2 feet of the stem is like a tree trunks in the hyro sytems.
