How to get rid of dispensary and while keeping the law in effect?

Since your opening a dispensary and I assume Ur for banning the 25 mile rule how are going to be able to charge resonable prices to the patients while keeping enough inventory n not get popped by the feds by growing more than 99 plants. I dont mean to be asshole but we are concerned we will not have access to our meds that's all.
The 25 mile rule is going nowhere. It has no reason to. Removing it would defeat the purpose of a Dispensary program.

That being said, I am against it and FOR full decriminalization. Im also a realist.

Do you even read anything? Or are you more stupid then we first suspected? We know who you and your "boys" are. You just only know about me.
What would you like me to read? I don't know you, I don't do markets, I don't grow Lambsbreath, I don't sell meds. You clearly got it twisted.

Just to clarify though. I did think that original post was yours and that was an error on my end. Thats what happens when you post from your phone before your first cup of coffee has set in.
Smoke a bowl man. Get ur caffiene whatever you need. I forgive and forget very easily. Especially on here. We are in the same boat more than you think so let's start acting like it.

This thread is the uneducated response to what is happening to the community and what patients feel about dispensaries. The guy who started this thread felt so strong.gly about this issue that he created a account on here so he could bitch about dispensaries. This is not a good sign for patient support of dispensaries.

The 25 mile rule is divisive and it divides our already fractured community. The state is using it to put dispensaries against patients and then once the mob has done the state dirty work they will go after patients roles. YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

The same one they already have; get it from someone who does grow. What you ignore is that this law effectively fucks everyone that has the ability to grow their own. What about them? Say you lived there and a dispensary set up. How would you feel about them making your grow both a state and federal crime again, under the guise of "legalization"?

Wasn't it completely illegal before? And now there's at least something? So how have dispensaries made life worse for cannabis patients?

The dispensary program will not work unless u have more than 99 plants n if you do the feds will raid you freeze your accounts n leave u with nothing

"Anyone shows up boycotting my dispensary and claiming they have love for Cannabis is going to get their ass handed to them by myself and my boys in quick fashion."

What does this mean? If they protest or even boycott, you are going beat them with billy clubs, maybe hit em' with a fire hose, sick the dogs on them? Who would that help? What cause would that further?

If you were truly interested in advancing the cause of "your" dispensary (which many of us doubt even exists), then you would spend a lot less time on these forums making a complete jerkoff of yourself. Quite honestly, if you worked for me, i would fire you simply because you can't keep your cockholster shut and when it is open, nothing but shit seems to come out.

bEST LAUGH I HAVE HAD IN A WEEK!!!!!! I love you JJ

I personally say you have made a bitch comment its assholes like you that's the problem here in AZ!

After the feds seize 10 or 20 dispensaries maybe it will stop the other monopoly's.

Time to shut them down. I wonder if anyone will call the feds complaining about dispensaries?

After all they have already promised to close down these monopolistic assholes here in AZ.

Lucius Vorenus is a petty drug dealing, scammer.[/h]

his 1st post last week was about him selling 330 dollar oz. When he was called out abou this medium quality weed, and his high prices. He promptly retracted his story and now gives ALL his weed away. Too terminal patients only. Yet he is still here trying to drum up people to rip off. As if many Terminal patients use the internet, while facing death, RIU is for sure a place they will frequent.

he is clearly trying to be a drug dealer in caregivers clothing. He isnt growing his own crop, he isnt acting at all like a kind compassionate person.

Sending me threats and giving me names and locations to meet him up at is laughable...a 41 year old man acting liek a child on the school yard....

PM from Idiot Vorenus
Meet me at ACS (Arizona Combat Sports) anytime you want homie. I train there 4 days a week. You're out of your element. Watch your mouth.

If you need me to come to you we can always meet at my buddy M's school called DeBrazil Jiu Jitsu in Tucson. As long as I can record it im happy to meet you and steal your manhood.

So if you disagree with this caregiver he will try to beat u up?? some caregiver, sounds more like alot of DRUGDEALERS I KNOW. Drugdealers threaten violence, caregivers would have gone about this WHOLE :caregivers: thing in a better manner.

You are not a caregiver, you are not a compassionate person.. You are a liar, a scammer and doesnt belong here trying to scam MY fellow Az neighbors.

Something is not always better than nothing. It's a step in the right direction, but it's just going to create a bunch of new criminals who won't pay $400 an Oz to the only dispensary in 25 miles. You don't seem to see the monopoly and quality issue potential. They made it worse because you now have to pay for the weed you previously grew yourself for much cheaper. To my knowledge, no price cap is set; meaning that $20/g to cover "startup costs" isn't out of the question. Plus, like someone else pointed out, how are they going to grow enough to keep up with demand without going over 99 plants? When the dispensary gets raided, it still exists. You then have a facility with no weed, and no other recuorse until they get back on track so you can pay $25/g to help it pay for "legal costs". There's alot of new problems they create, while supposedly fixing the old problem.

Edit: Saw you changed your mind before I posted this. Disregard

hahahaha...they made weed legal in washington where I live but theres no place to buy it "legally" and you cant grow it.

they should make it so the dispensaries can sell to any over 21 using the same computer systems they have in pharmacies that link your drivers licence to the purchase limiting the amount you can buy....like they do with claritin d

They only have 1 legal mmj store in Arizona even though they have voter approved mj since 2010.

You guys can grow cause they only have 1 legal store in glendale....grow your own if you can.... dont depend on others for your medicine

.

........................................THOUSANDS GROWING THEIR OWN

The opening of the dispensaries -- if that occurs -- will mean another big change in how the law operates in Arizona.
The initiative spelled out that those who live at least 25 miles from a dispensary are entitled to grow their own marijuana. Backers of the measure said they inserted that to prevent hardships for those living in rural areas.
But the state began issuing user cards last year even as Gov. Jan Brewer directed Humble not to process dispensary applications while she sought a court order overturning that part of the law. Humble said the result has been that the state granted more than 25,000 of the card users permission to cultivate the drug.
Those permits, Humble said, will remain legal until the annual review of each user's card. He said if the person is then within 25 miles of an open dispensary, the permission will be revoked; otherwise it will be renewed.
Humble was an opponent of the 2010 initiative, at least in part because of the same concerns being raised by Montgomery and Horne about the conflicts with federal law.

11/15/2012 GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) - A Glendale business has made history, becoming the first medical marijuana dispensary approved to operate in the state of Arizona.Inspectors with the state's Department of Health Services spent more than four hours at Arizona Organix Thursday, going through a nine-page checklist of criteria dispensaries must meet.

DHS Director Will Humble posted the following on his blog:
"Our team just returned from a field inspection for a dispensary applicant in Glendale. There were no major deficiencies, and we awarded the dispensary an "approval to operate" late this afternoon. This is the first dispensary approval to operate we've issued in the State."
By law, the state is not allowed to name the dispensary.
But, the owner of Arizona Organix confirmed to CBS 5 News his dispensary passed the inspection.
"We're grateful and excited to be where we're at," said Ben Myer. "We feel like we put ourselves in this position and we met every requirement that was asked of us. And, that's why we're in the position we are."
Inspectors looked at everything, from the dispensary's policies and procedures to its inventory control and security.
"It gets the right people in the business and keeps the wrong people out," Myer pointed out about the DHS' thorough inspection process.
Surveillance cameras are mounted throughout the building's Glendale Boulevard location; partitions are made of bulletproof glass and walls are reinforced.
"Our plan was to provide an overwhelming sense of security to hopefully never have to deal with any issues," Myer said.
And now with the state's approval to operate, Myer said he's preparing to serve the community.
"It's a great opportunity to not only help people, but to be part of a movement," he said.
And future dispensary operators, including Joe McKee with The Kind Relief, Inc. in Page, are watching Myer's business closely as they ponder how to proceed.
"There's still the argument by the Maricopa county attorney saying it's illegal," said McKee. "So, technically we're worried about Joe Arpaio, if you will, and all those guys coming after him, actually trying to make arrests. So, we're going to kind of let them be the guinea pigs and then go from there."
DHS tells CBS 5 News Arizona Organix has the legal right to open for business immediately.
Myer said he hasn't determined an opening date, but is aiming for the beginning of December.
Humble made an important note in his blog concerning how this affects the self-grow portions of Arizona's medical marijuana law.
Starting Friday, Nov. 16, DHS will be declining new "requests to cultivate" for new medical marijuana cardholders in the metro Phoenix area.
Self growing is only allowed for patients who live more than 25 miles from a dispensary.
Humble's blog also stated:
"We're also adding a new feature to our web site to help people figure out if they live within 25 miles of a dispensary. Because of the changes to the system, we just took it offline. We'll work on it over the weekend and most of the application process should be up and running on Monday."
DHS tells CBS 5 News the next dispensary inspection will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the Tucson area

Wow they are not even open and Humble is breaking the law by not issuing authorization to cultivate cards!
Also interesting to note is Humble previously stated current growers can still grow even when dispensaries open until there card expires.

http://directorsblog.health.azdhs.gov/?p=2175#comments Everyone please make a copy of humbles statement to bailey saying people can keep growing once the dispensaries ope .
It is at the bottom of the page. I have seen him state it a few times however he may erase it.
Will Humble says: May 3, 2012 at 9:30 am
Bailey,
Yes. Your card will still be valid (you can grow) until you renew your card. Then we won’t give an authorized to grow card to you if you live within 25 miles of an operating dispensary.
