I have heard that if you put peels of an orange, watermelon....(Ect) into your soil that the pot plant is growing in it changes the flavors around is this true?

No, otherwise your weed would taste like dirt, or water, or whatever you grew it in. If you put a peel of an orange in the jar while it cures it will smell like orange though

my weed tastes like sushi because i use fish hydrolysate. it tastes like gingerbread because i use molasses. my favorite part is when i put fruit loops in the soil and it turns out SUPER FRUITY!

The taste is in the genetics man; for smell though you could add orange peels, or grapefruit, or any high citrus rine to add some smell during curing.

I could see myself trying this out one day. Like if I get a already particularly citrusy smelling plant...

Taste is genetic and also a result of the composition of the growing medium. Give it a try but consider the pH changes that an acidic fruit can bring to your soil.

taste is genetic. curing brings it out. put some mint or orang oil on a cotton ball inside your curing jar. putting that stuff in your soil would merely break down and fertilize the plant, but wouldn't give it any flavor

try adding one of the free perfumes u get as samples in the tank :)
i did that to get rid of the bad smell cuz im using organics/hydro but who knows i might get a nice smelly budds :D

You can add some blackstrap molasses to your water to increase your sweetness.

For the best taste indoor can provide you need to sacrifice a little yield and keep the plants roughly 16" to 18" away from a 600w light, a little less for 400, a little more for 1000s. Do this even if you have an aircooled light.

You have to put fruit loops in the dirt. Moon pies are excellent as well.
Moon pies really fuck with the ph of your soil...What I do, which was passed down from the old timers, is 40% Fox Farm 40% Happy Frog 20% Perlite and about 4 or 5 Twinkies....Trust me you will never had smoked anything as sweet....After a bowl, your mouth is as sticky as if you've eaten a bunch of twinkies

You just got the wrong moon pies. Vanilla is PH down and Chocolate PH up. I like the sounds of the fox balls and frog legs. That a creole recipe?

But in all seriousness, sweetness is 90% genetics...the reason I say 90% and not 100% is because you can make it taste and smell like shit...I've had a really good smoke that had a good sweet exhale but that was because of genetics and all the sweeteners in the world couldn't make that happen with another strain...In flower, give it carbo load or if you can get your hands on, get some black strap mollases...it'll mellow out the smoke but won't make it sweet
