Lacy, you go girl. Now that we are paying members, can't we do this? I am sure the guys on here do not want to hear about our periods, husband rants, women issues etc. We need to discuss it, not them. I think it is a great idea Lacy. :mrgreen::peace:

Not all of use instant messenger and as far as th pm's, then you can get anyone pm you.

Also the thing with this is, how do we know who is female ande who is male? Its not like we can wear a sign saying 'looking for fellower female growers alike to shoot the sh*t wif?"

Thats sounds insane for one, and two you'd be getting all kinds of guys pm'ing you pretending to be chicks. :?

And since this is a growing forum and it is the 'net' thats intimidating for many of us females.

If there was a female grow room to even introduce ourselves as female growers, at least evntually we can distinquish the males from the females.

Yes perhaps it is asking for something special but after all....

I don't look at it as sexiest at all but I understand where you are coming from as far as the work situation.
My husband often comes home complaining about whenever a problem comes up the women always manage to escape by either crying or running to the bathroom, trying to make the 'men, man' look like an idiot.

Yes totally unfair I agree. It does go both ways.

i can't speak for anyone else here but i certainly don't feel like anyone is trying to rape me. That's absurd. We are all comfy in our homes, I would think.

But if I am pms'ing it would be nice to 'wake and bake' or chill in a room with others who understand 'cause sometimes we don't even.:confused::confused::confused::confused: understand ourselves then.

I honestly think it is just that we communicate differently.

I'll give you a prime example.

I have been married to my man for 18 years now. Very happily i must add.

If i have something i want to talk to him about and it isn't something he can solve, he gets frustrated because he THINKS I am bitching about it for him to fix. I'm not trying to get him to fix any of my problems, i just wnat to 'talk.' Just talk. :roll:

Now seriously you guys!!! Does this not sound familiar to you??? Throw a bit of pms in there and it turns into an argument. :?

that's funny...I live with my 80 year old mother and my 17 year old daughter... and thats challenging enough...my manhood is intact...
I read where someone said this website is 90% male...I think it's probably more like 95%...
us guys can get pretty obnoxious sometimes...so come on rollitup let the ladies have their forum...if it doesn't work out...if they get out of control shut them down...
 
I hear ya Lacy, men are great! But they always want to fix stuff. Sometimes we just need them to hear us and not try to fix it. They just don't understand some women issues. That is where it would be great to converse with the gals. So we don't feel alone in this big sea of men, lol. It is not an equality thing at all. We don't see us as better than you, just different is all. :mrgreen::peace:

That's exactly right. we just communicat differently is all.
Gosh i love my man more than anything or anyone in this world but the few big arguments that we do have, have been due to the very fact that we communicate differently. Just because I may want to talk about a problem doesn't mean i am looking for him to fix it and we communicate very well. I gave this example just to show you what I meant.
Woman just wanna talk, not have you guys fix something.

When i first came to this site I was extremely intimidated because of the topic(weed) and because there are so many men here.:o Its not that we are on the defense at all its just that you guys cannot see our viewpoint as woman because you aren't one. How can you see our viewpoint?
Just think. I am here telling you all of this BUT how many woman out there have felt this way but just left instead?
We'd get more ladies here I think and what so bad about that.

because it only enforces a seperation of sexes... which i personally believe isn't right...


i have not one single problem with any female here i don't think (unless you are a female gk, haha)

but whats the difference between females and males anyways besides poons and poles?
