hey guys i wanted to find out how do you use mollasas i heard three weeks before harvest but i think i also heard thru out the whole grow idk help please
1tbsp, per gallon of water, mix it in, water.
You can use it through the whole grow.ok but do i use it through the whole grow or last three weeks before harvest
ok but do i use it through the whole grow or last three weeks before harvest
The idea is that it is providing sugars for the bacteria in the soil, you can use it through your whole grow to promote better nitrogen fixation, etc.
oh ok thanks for the info guys i also have fox farm bat guano should i apply to the top of the soil or mix it with water
Mix with soil, you can make a tea with it as well for every other watering(ish) through the veg stage for more nitrogen.
you can make the tea as well but i heard you have to make that and let it sit for a week or so first, dont know why.
The nitrogen from the guano is in a form unusable to the plants(ammonia), it must be converted by bacteria into the usable form, and this takes time, and a bit of moisture.
And it might be so it doesn't hurt to add it, even if it is a placebo. Can't knock it till you tried it.Use it for baking, as it was intended. It doesn't do anything, unless something with your feeding/medium, is lacking.

You're right but the sugars are ready to be used by the micro-organisms in the soil. Molasses is for the soil, not the plant.Actually, I've used it a few times, myself. It's a great supply of trace nutes, but, as far as fattening/sweetening the buds go,....mostly BS. The sugars contained in it, take more than 3 weeks to break down and become useable to plants, so the practice of using it at the end of flowering, is either complete placebo, or, supplying trace nutes that were unknowingly lacking. The sugars do nothing, at that point.
Molasses is for the soil, not the plant.
Best thing to do with molasses is add some to your Xmas cake mix.
I have fed it to my plants, found no noticeable difference whatever with plants that didn´t get molasses. Waste of time and money.
I have read about feeding the soil, but find it to be just useless hokum.
