How the bloody hell do u germ seeds in rockwool

Use vermiculite to germ seeds

Fill a yogurt cup with vermiculite, then fill that with water and let the verm get saturated for 1-2 minutes, drain all the excess water out of the cup until it doesn't even drip, poke a shallow hole in the damp verm with your finger, drop in the seed and cover lightly with the damp verm, put a sandwich baggie over that cup like a humidome to keep the verm from drying out. Your seed will pop in 3-5 days, then gently scoop out your new seedling with a spoon (be careful not to break that taproot) and put your seedling in whatever medium you use.

I live out in the woods. Town is 45 minutes away. I have three totes of home made compost brewing all the time. All it is is yard scraps, broken up leaves, and kitchen scraps. If you drink coffee you would be surprised how fast it adds up to compost. And don't forget to throw your egg shells in there too. Read up in the 'Organics' section a bit. Allot of people there make their own soil. Good luck on your grow.

Yup I live in the boonies and only make a trip to a grow store every few months
But it takes a little work

Yeah, I hear ya my friend. Does take a little leg work to do it properly. Was gone for 5 hours today and made six stops around town. There's always the internet for some supplies. I am a soil grower but you can't beat Mega Crop for what it does.

Look, mate. If you live long distances from shops and rely on shipping then hydro is not for you. Hear me now. I live where every fucking thing is shipped. If we are lucky and fuckers will even ship to Alaska or Hawai'i. Dirt can be used and then reused many times. I'm trying to be helpful and offer EXPERIENCE here when l advise.

In fact buy a large bale of peat and a large bag of perlite. You're surrounded by good soil. Make your own and recycle it.

Dude your dirt is legendary, folks would kill to get it. I kinda think its funny when folks from places with super rich soils buy overpriced super rich soils when all they need is a shovel.
