How Old/Young are You

I am just wondering how many people out there are in my age bracket. Im going to be 44 this month, and I am starting to get the feeling that most people posting here are a fair bit younger from what Ive read so far. Anyhow if the vast majority of members are much younger than myself, then that would defintely affect how I go about writing or reading posts.

ok so since only 2 out of 19 people responded to this question and both of them are quite a bit younger I am starting to assume that there are few people out there around my age or older since I think such people would speak up. I was thinking it would be a good idea to get an average member age which could be posted on the home page so visitors or new members would have an idea who they are talking to .This would be a good idea for all sites where members interact as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0XknwXqLDo

Who cares how old people are, anyways if there was a system like that users can lie about their age, the system is pretty useless. Plus, there is another similar thread were members responded about there age.

"anyways if there was a system like that users can lie about their age" I suppose they could but I dont know why too many people would do that so I dont think it would be a big problem. Anyhow ,I was just thinking that sometimes I talk beyond my age especially when I am talking about music . I am in the music business so I know a great deal about music from the 60s and even the 50s ,so I may go off on a tangent about that thinking that there may be hundreds of people my age or even 20 years older who might understand many of the groups or songs I am talking about . If I know that only about 10 % or less of the members here are older than me ,then I probably wouldnt bother talking about music from that era as much and might talk more about newer music instead. Music is just one example and Im sure you could think of many other similar topics where it helps to get an idea of the age of the audience you are talking to. Thanks for the happy birthday longbaugh its the day after Christmas . No 44 isnt so old,I often feel younger than I did when I was 14 sometimes and I mean it because i didnt have much to live for then since I was screwing up at school, and things were just looking real bad a lot of the time.

"The Reagan Presidency" Oh Yes longbaugh those were very bad times up here in Canada since our government also got on the just say no bandwagon, and the cops/customs were cracking down on dealers smugglers big time. For about two years it was almost impossible to find weed or hash around here so I started drinking like a total alcoholic instead. That may have been the best thing that happened to this country because then people learned how to grow indoors, and now things are soooo much different thanks to Ronald and Nancy.
