How old were you?

This is.. yours was one of those posts to which just about any response seems trite. I cannot even BEGIN to comprehend your pain, your wife's pain, I can understand her desire to be with your son, completely. I read your post soon after I'd been discussing with a friend an awful night dive I did with my youngest son, how close I thought I was to having lost him (he disappeared into that inky black water), all that went through my mind.

Yeah, that had to be incredibly difficult to write, to dredge up. I've got all these damned cliches running through my head right now, and.. damned cliches.

I don't think there is anything I, or anyone else, can say that is really... appropriate. Except this, I am very, very glad that you and your wife got through this and are still here. You strike me as a well-considered man, so your wife must be of the same caliber, which means you're both the kind of people we need here on earth, with the rest of us, to help whoever needs help slogging through. Clearly, you've touched more people than you may have intended, and that's a good thing.
exactly,i couldnt say anything

Wow guys, thanks for the kind words.

My wife has zero intrerest in the internet or in this forum but i let her read this thread & all your responses, all the nice responses made her very happy,it's been many years now since that happened but i still keep my eye on her,its hard for me sometimes but its much, much worse for her,its something she struggles with daily.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Fuck, I realized looks weren't everything when I was 11. Not because I'm an ugly bitch, though. That was a factor, but I found that the 'beautiful people' in this world are generally very shallow and tend to hook up with other 'beautiful people' anyway.

I was lucky enough to meet my hubby in high school and he was gorgous then and still is but looks are actually important regardless.

You dont have to judge people on their looks but physical attraction is huge part in any relationship

Probably just a few years back... Ive of course dated a few uglies in my life time, but I dated someone that I STILL get teased about to this day. But he was awesome. Ultimately I ended up breaking it off, cuz I built his self esteem up SO high that he started getting cocky and cocky is sometimes a turn off.... Ill try to scramble up a pic of him really quick for some shits a giggles....

excuse me mizz.. please pardon my assessment if it is wrong.. but I suspect your radar is skewed and is unable to make proper determination based on your comments in the shaved or hairy thread.

I believe you said something like hair is unsanitary...

Who the hell is worried about sanitary when they're down there having a convo with your barking spider? :?

Besides, people are too damn worked up about killing germs, and now look where we are. We won't have a chance to pollute ourselves off the face of the earth because we've created superbugs that we can no longer treat ourselves for.

16. I'd still say I have high standards though, at least according to my tastes ; ) I definitely tend to look more for mind than body though, I mean for the most part, you get maybe 10 good years of body, after that, you need to have some other connection besides physical attraction.

It'll be a while till i turn 20 and I've already realized that. Someone can attract me over time by acting a certain way(and i don't mean acting slutty). But they still have to look half decent and look like they take care of themselves(ie... dressing, smelling and altogether looking good). That's me.
